A very interesting complex that have the museum and the buildings from the ancient Kingdom of Majapahit. The museum guide also explained lots of the technology and architectural during that times. This site was not exposed to lots of tourists, but of you were keen on culture and archeology, a visit to this site was worthed. Pack on some snacks/lunch when you visit the area.

Having check out from Viva Hotel, the way to Central Kava, we stopped by at Monumen Simpang Lima Gumul, my impression was just ordinary place, crowded for which many people took picture and one tourism destination weaknesses is cleanliness, the place is dirty and public toilet did not work well, smell, OMG. Thats our not good experience in Kediri. Thank you

This is said to be formerly used as a bathing place for the royals. Some said it is a worship place. Either way, it is an exotic place. You can see how surprisingly advanced technology they had back then through the water system. They even had the hole system we have for our jacuzzi now. The best part of the trip here was that you can go down the temple, and explore it real close.
Short, but memorable visit!

Only 30 minutes from Nganjuk. Beautiful scenery along the way. Small waterfall. It has children playground. Asphalt road up to waterfall. Perfect for those who seek for outdoor gateway without hard works

We park our car in the last sign parking. After its up to you, you can just walk until the top of volcano or take ojek (motor cycle ride). It's very beautiful panoramic view, but when we visit the other day still can see the effect of the eruption so not greenish and the road are not in good condition. And some tracking part are still close. But still can See the beautifulness of the souronding. We meet governor people's take a look the condition of the road, they said gonna make new road so the visitor are save. Overall we enjoying our trip.

The vihara is situated at a quiet grounds, often visited during the Vesak days in Indonesia. It is one of the oldest temple around Mojokerto, with a Four faced buddha rupang, and a spacious dhamma hall. Come for the big sleeping Buddha, and the surrounding candi tikus to make a perfect trip to Mojokerto. You can also opt to pray here as well,, as the temple is a perfect place to practice quiet meditation, and often used as a retreat.

This is one of the best-preserved of the ruins at Trowulan, a village outside of Mojokerto. Tall, slender and sparsely decorated, it very much belongs to the East Java tradition of temple-building. It is one of the must-see sights on a rickshaw tour of the area. Surabaya would be the best base for a visit here.
