We went there for my children outbound. After the activity done and before leaving we enjoy the restaurant. The food is good and the place is very comfortable supported by nature. Trees, hill, etc.

It is probably the most famous chicken satay franchise origin from ponorogo city in kediri. Not the best taste of chicken satay, but still good. And the restaurant open 24 hours. Instead of only white chicken meat satay, you can choose skin chicken satay, liver satay, or "usus" satay

As other Bu Kris places, the menu is standard and taste is the same. As usual my favorite is Nasi komplit besar ( fried chicken, empal suwir, boiled egg, ebi shrimp, meatball mix with spicy chilly with low, medium, hot choices.). This is their specialty menu, though other local East Java menu is available such as Rawon (black beef soup), and pecel penyet. All menu would be yummy if spicy hot.

overall the place is not bad
location: -7.614240, 112.566220
hotel:
- make sure you ask for the new hotel premise which is located across the restaurant and can be accessed by cars
- the older rooms are located close to the pool; they look old and dark; they don't look very appealing to me
- the hotel information says that the room has fridge. i found none in my room
- the water in the sink was off in the morning.
- the view was good
restaurant:
- the food is ok but i think it is a bit pricey for the region
- the hotel provides breakfast at the restaurant but the variety of the breakfast menu leaves something to be desired. it has only fried rice and soto for breakfast
- breakfast starts at 8, which i think is a bit late
staff:
- generally staffs in the hotel and restaurant are polite
- one drawback is staff in the gift shop and at the pool entrance are rather unwelcoming. the management needs to train their staffs better
attraction:
- it has a swimming pool
- the premise is under major development (i believe the outbound facilities). i believe in one year time this place can offer attractive vacation place with families
- the place holds a quite large number of horses; some of the horses are available for horse-back riding. ask the person in the stable
- price
standard room: Rp. 450.000 (about $40)
transit room: Rp. 300.000 (about $25)
club room: Rp. 650.000 (about $55)
suite room: Rp. 800.000 (about $70)

It doesn't say much about food in Mojokerto that this is the best place in town. Look, you aren't going to get ill or anything but this is standard food made by people who know what they are doing. Rawon was good. I was a little weird to have it with fried ribs, but whatever.

This is one of the Best private Restaurant in Kediri. Eventhough the price is quiet expensive but the taste is so delicious. A lot of table so fit for group and party. Very recommended in Kediri.

The menu is typical of cities Nganjuk presented here as muddy rice, mutton satay, mutton stew.
The traditional food stall serve "sego becek" and lamb satay. Sego becek with chunks of lamb and soup taste unique and rich with spices. Little bit of spicy will not hurt you at all! Stop by to recharge your energy and apetite.

If you are not just hungry and looking fo a cheap and nutritional meal, look for an alternative.
Nothing cozy about this factiry canteen, although the food quality is good. No great presentation of your food should be expected and my discription if the place as a canteen is quite accurate.

As a local in a mid-size town like Kediri, I always find it hard to get fresh pastries with a good quality. Now the waiting is over! This new patisserie finally came to town last August and serves various types of pastry which will make you crave for more.
Apparently, the chef has been baking pastries in Tokyo for 10 years. So, no wonder he makes such good stuffs! The price is reasonable, although slightly more expensive than the price of average food in town. For instance, I spent around 20k Rupiah for one piece of super-delicious cake (I ordered strawberry cheese cake by the way, which is a masterpiece!). But well, good stuff has price.
To sum up, it is worth trying! I just wish they had a nice sitting area as in a cafe. I have recommended this place to my friends and they love it. They said that they didn't even know there is a good pastry place in town until I told them! Maybe the owners should do more marketing as not many people know this hidden gem. The Chef is super friendly! He greeted me with a big smile and offered me to try some of his fresh-from-the-oven cakes for free. Thus, the service is SUPERB! I will definitely come here again. Good luck!
