Found out about this place from the local information centre. Showcases local wines and produce such as chocolate, dried fruits, olives, cheeses, meats, oils to name a few items. Wine tasting available and you can also organise your own platter of local produce. Very helpful and knowledgeable gentlemen who took us through the wine tasting. No pressure to buy and very passionate about the local wines etc which I might say were lovely especially one of the reds which resulted in some bottles purchased.

Fossey's Ginporium and Distillery hand crafts unique small batch Gin made from Mildura grape spirit and unique Australian and local botanicals. Taste a selection, meet Stanley (the still) and see him in operation every Thursday from noon till nine. Free entry. Come and see what all the Foss is about.
A wonderful couple of hours spent enjoying the atmosphere in this beautifully restored Art Deco (??) “Ginporium”. Engaging lesson from the owner (Steve – a natural showman) on how they make their different types of Gin from local produce and also how to make the perfect G&T. Even the artwork on the labels is by a local artist. I would love to be there on a Thursday to watch ‘Stanley’ the Still at work, and apparently you can even lend a hand with the labelling.
A great experience of local artisan craft, left with a couple of bottles of Gin — for health purposes of course!

This has to be the best Visitor Information Centre I have been too. Large area, comprising loads of information, local artworks, indigenous artefacts etc. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful, even phoning external locations to check on their opening hours. The attached cafe was perfect for a light lunch. Well done Mildura!

We went to the Kylie Minogue exhibition, and before I went the only thing I knew was that she was Australian and sang "Locomotion". Great display and I came out much more knowing lots more. The old homestead was great to visit, with the hallway recently restored it was looking fabulous. The staff were very helpful too, making sure we didn't miss anything on our visit.

Lovely walk around this area and interesting to cross the Mighty Murray! Walk over to the island and then around the path amongst the beautiful big gum trees. Look out for the interesting sculpture on your way. The weir may be gushing as you come almost full circle. Early morning is the best time.

Tried a range of Trentham Wines during a wine tasting. Enjoyed their wines, and also thought their prices were good after recently visiting the Barossa. Loved the Pinot Grigio. After the wine tasting we sat outside under a lovely gum tree and gazed at the river while we had a delightful cheese platter -$30. They have three different platters - dukkah, antipasto, and cheese. Pity they don't mix the three onto one. Friendly service and a wonderful setting.

The mini golf course was an entertaining and well kept course. Fairly expensive for what it was, although appreciated the toddler discount. Our biggest concern was the lack of barriers around the last whole with quite a big drop off. With young kids playing we were really concerned for their safety and had to constantly be next to them for the last hole.

Very calming peaceful activity. One of the most beautiful river stretches in Australia. Paddle steamers, pelicans, houseboats, ducks...... amazing. Take the time and walk along from the Chaffey attractions right down to the river side caravan park. Gorgeous

Jaycee Park is located opposite the Murray River, with plenty of grass area for kids to run . The local council has recently replace one of the Playgrounds with a more modern version, and as is an increasingly common complaint - its smaller and "safer" than ever before. The area is no longer providing options for kids of all ages. Instead it seems more geared to the under 6 crowd. A climbing frame and flying fox are the only play equipment options for older kids.
BBQs are nearby and always seem to be in use. The toilets are always revolting - dark, grubby and no hand dryer/paper towel. A kids playground needs toilet that have plenty of light and hygiene an option. They had hand soap for a change - so that's a bonus (its usually empty).
Next to the carpark is a cafe - offering drinks and snacks, such as slices, biscuits etc. A valuable addition in itself.
