Great casual dining in stylish surrounds. Affordable modern menu with a wine selection to match.Friendly efficient service with breathtaking views of the Lady Bay and Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village.Open for Breakfast, lunch & dinner as well as morning and afternoon teas. Maybe just pop in for a glass of wine and just soak in the atmosphere while taking in the view.
Dined here with friends prior to going to the sound and light show at Flagstaff hill. We had the fish platter which is pippies speciality. At $39.90 each it was absolutely amazing. You definitely don't need an entree if ordering this meal. The wine list...MoreHello CMN, Thankyou, we are so glad you enjoyed your time at Pippies.

Got the Steakhouse pizza....... incredibly good! The only thing that would make this place better is if they did half and half on the gourmet pizzas! I couldn’t choose which one i wanted! Great menu, ok prices, exceptional bases and toppings! Highly recommend!

I've never been disappointed at the Flying Horse until tonight.
The first issue was that stupid idea of using a TV screen to display the specials. We arrived about 6.30pm and the specials were still being entered into it. Eventually, they gave up and all that was on special for the night it would seem was silverside and gnocchi. We asked the waitress about the specials and ordered oysters, carbonara and "beef stir-fry sizzler."
The oysters and my wife's carbonara were excellent. But where was the sizzle in the stir-fry sizzler? I was hoping for something spicy but there was no spice at all, it was served on a cold plate and the sauce was quite unpleasant. Sizzler???
The Flying Horse is the best pub in Warrnambool with great staff, so we will be back again for sure but lose that specials board. Table 5.

What a perfect Valentine’s Day dining experience. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely staff member and escorted to our table, the room was clean well air conditioned and decorated with heart balloons on every table.
The drinks menu was well priced with a great selection.
For Starters I had the “ Garlic prawn served with crusty bread”... more like prawns floating in a garlic soup fluid with 2 tiny pieces of dipping bread.
The soup thing was a little odd but taste wise was sensational!!!!
For Main I chose avocado chicken with salad and chips. The salad was fresh and lively the chicken just a little dry and over cooked but still a great meal.
Service all night was faultless.

We were only in Warrnambool for one night and after Reading reviews on several places, we chose this Thai - and certainly didn't regret it.
It was a busy place so we had to wait a short while for a table but that was fine. The place isn't licensed but there is a bottle shop not far away.
Unusual for a Thai but they had the roti and satay sauce which was absolutely delicious! All the mains we ordered we equally good and tasty too.
Definitely worth a try.

My husband and I visited this restaurant on our holiday to Victoria. We had seen the great reviews and thought we would check it out ourselves. We were pleasantly surprised and definitely would return.
The food serving sizes were very reasonable for the price, the flavours were great. We received great service from all the staff and all questions we had regarding the menu were answered. They were easy to talk to and make minor changes to our meals to suit us. We had a great night out at this restaurant and would return. We ended up spending under $50 for 2 people to eat here with is very reasonable in Victoria. Would recommend for people to try out this restaurant on your next visit.

Now here is a restaurant from which a lot of others could learn a great deal.
This gem is tucked away in the parklands but faces onto the water and being upstairs, gives outstanding views, which can be enjoyed from any table in the house.
It was Valentines day when we discovered this gem of a restaurant. They were fully booked but said they would rearrange tables to fit us in. How wonderfull is that for a start. Even though this meant we were near the bar at the opposite side of the floor to ceiling windows we could still have virtually full appreciation of the view. In fact, being where we were avoided being the direct sunlight, which may have proved to be a little uncomfortable for some.
Enough of the location. The outstanding feature of this place, apart from the food, is the wonderful team of staff. They could not be more friendly, knowledgable, courteous and as many more compliments that I can think of to attribute to them.
We were made to feel like we were the only customers in the place, but we could see that that attention shown to us was given to all their clients . Truely refreshing and making this one of the best restaurant experiences we have had ever.
The menu choice was varied, but not overly extensive which made deciding on a course a pleasant exercise.
And all of this at reasonable restaurant prices.
We started with a glass of Veuve Champagne. Our Main courses; Seafood risotto, Chicken masala curry. Enjoyed with a glass of Shiraz. Desert was Creme Brûlée with fruit- to die for.
I could not recommend this place more highly The staff are THE key that made this evening meal such a wonderful experience. What a great reflection not only on the restaurant, but on the township of Warrnambool itself.
You would do yourself a disservice if you missed an opportunity to dine here.

Situated on Warrnambool Foreshore.
The view is stunning overlooking the ocean, horses were being led into the water for exercise, boats were moving around. there is inside Seating or lots of Seating on the verandah to make the most of the view and breeze. The waitress was friendly and our breakfast was delicious.
