I have been to this park in many occasion and we always enjoy it. There are so many things to do if you have kids or if you don't...
The entrance is free, inside you have some table picnic, so bring your food, bread, sandwiches of even for breakfast, croissant, pain au chocolat and some nice french bread with some coffee. If you are well organized don't forget to bring a table cloth along it will make the experience even better.
Inside you can go for the accrobranches for kids or adults,
there is a merry go round,
there is the pédagogique farm,
the train to visit the park,
the poneys,
lots of nice walk to discover
You will have to pay for most of the activities except for the walk...
Enjoy and try to spend the day there you'll enjoy it.

Based, I think, on a tour book, Fos-sur-Mer sounded like a good place for a quick stop on our drive. The upshot was that it was OK, but no great shakes. When we were there, there were just three flamingos to see in the nearby lake, which would be nice if you like to see flamingos and you're not going to the Camargue, where you'd see hundreds. Generally, the views were OK, but nothing spectacular. And the ancient fortifications were OK, but, again, not nearly as wonderful as many other ancient structures in the region. The ancient church wasn't open when we were there, so can't comment on that. Finally, the views and the fortifications are on a bit of a hill, so if the Mistral is blowing, as it was when we were there, it is very windy and therefore (at least in April) cold.

We have been here 5 days and played a lot with our kids at the beach. White sand and on the side huge rocks which offers running opportunities.

Important Roman heritage site
Lucky enough to have the site to ourselves. Exploring the vast time scale of the existence of Saint Blaise. Still being excavated, it commands an impressive location overlooking three different waters. Recommended.
