A dream beach in Kefalos, you need a car to visit this paradise beach, cristal clear water, white sand, no much activities and no much people, very quite and with a wonderful view.

We were staying at the Porto bello palace across the road so got a discount. €12pp instead of €14. It's free if you are staying at the Porto bello royal. We went in September so slightly out of season. There wasn't loads of people there which was great as you didn't have to queue for the slides. Only went only a couple of the milder one's as not very adventurous but it was good fun. There is also a lazy river, sun loungers around a pool and a bar area. If you are staying at the hotels you can leave for lunch and come back. The lady at the ticket office was really friendly and helpful. The life guards not so much. None of them spoke to anyone.

Unique little beach. Some roman ruins to wander around with some amazing photo opportunities. The beach is lovely not to busy and if you like swimming can swim to a small island which nobody lives on, climb the rocks and explore but take sea shoes as is quite rocky.

As you pass through agios theologos you pass an amazing restaurant where after a hard day at the beach you can enjoy brilliant food and even watch the sunset too.
Pass the restaurant and follow the sandy road down to the diamond beach there you will find yiannis at his man Friday beach. Paradise. A joy to visit. Plenty of sunbeds umbrellas. Sea very clear and clean . No stones seaweed etc. Can be wavy but good fun for all ages.

This beach is located just before the road that climbs up to Kefalos. Unlike many Kos Beaches that are overloaded with beach umbrellas and countless loungers, this is a laid back location with relatively few people. The water is calm and the sand is soft. The nearby taverna that we looked at and ate in were nothing special but we had a pleasing swim in the sea.

A lovely beach with crystal clear waters. But caution as there is more than one road. We followed google maps shortest route - Wrong! Don't turn off from Kefalos until you see a sign to Cavo paradiso. We made a mistake and although finally got there in our fiat rental it was very very rough! The way back following the signed road was easy. Worth the trip but take the correct road!

Abundance of natural beauty, sandy beach awaits, as like in Paradise; parasols and sunbeds, with a litlle restaurant and bar who serves good cocktails, cold drinks and good food.
they called it "Bubble-Beach"; sometimes you see little mysterious bubbles in the sea, rest of gaz of an extinct volcano on the seaground, perhaps he sizzle still, keeping it secret;
600 m of sandy and beautiful beach,

The ruins are situated at the end of the Agios Stefanos beach , opposite the most photographed landmark in Kefalos ,kastri island .free to enter. A bit of a hike along the beach from Kefalos ,even though the locals consider this a ten minute beach walk , took us nearly an hour needing a breakfast stop too ! . It really is a nice ruin to visit , can be accessed by car small park behind beach .

Whether sitting in the restaurant above the beach, or lying on a towel on the beach, there is a view to be admired. When we were there, loungers had not been set out, but -based on a previous visit- we would expect that to have happened by now (June). For the reasonably physically fit, it is a decent walk from Kefalos (not too stretching, we've done it, & the boss is NOT a keen walker). The restaurant above the beach is good. We go early in the season, so it's almost as thought they're just opening. The beach bar hasn't been open while we've been there, but probably would be by now.

Is about 45 km from Kos town, a little bit in the mountain, high in Kefalos little town, there are the ruins of a little Asklépiéon old village Camara probably from the old town Astypalée.
