The beach was 20 min from where I was staying , walking.
Several restaurants along the beach for lunch appetizers snack or any kind of drink or refreshment. Nice long beach for running walking swimming, not very crowded during the week. Probably crowded on week ends and holidays.

Spent a week at the Royal Decameron resort, beach is nice, mix of dark and light sand. Lots of shells if you have children or are into shelling.
Great place to walk, can go a good distance, saw lots of peoe running near waters edge.
The ocean itself can be rough and several places are.a little steep, however it is possible to swim. Lots of people in the water having a good time. We did go in ourselves a couple of times. Overall quite clean other than human garbage.

Farallon Paddle Co, it is a Stanp Up Paddle rental center, located on Farallon Beach, on Pipas Beach Bar and Restaurant, you can enjoy a paddle trip and the good food on the best Beach spot on the pacific coast.
Fuimos un grupo de amigos el fin pasado, la atención personalizada para las personas que no han hecho paddle nunca, la playa parecía un lago y se hizo más fácil fue realmente agradable.
Lo recomiendo 100%

It was very difficult to communicate with the person doing my manicure. I told her not to cut my cuticals and she didn't understand and proceeded to do so several times until and pulled my hand away. The manicure and pedicure only lasted a few days as well so was a complete waste of money

As resorts courses go, this is a good test of your skills. There are 4 sets of tees and we played 3 of them for the experience. So there is plenty of fun to be had no matter of your handicap.
The staff is friendly and very helpful. The check in staff informed us of the package deals. If you are going to purchase multiple rounds this saves you some money. We took a 5 pack that effectively got us one round for free. If you are playing multiple rounds they will store your clubs at the course for $1.00 per day.
Our trip to Panama was in the last few weeks of the dry season so the rough was a little dry and burnt out in places. The fairways tee and greens all were all green and lush. Water does come into play on many of the golf holes. If you are coming to play do yourself a favor and go out a little early and take advantage of the practice area they have a full sized driving range practice bunker and putting greens. The putting green itself will save you strokes the greens here are tough to read and it took a few days figure them out. The bunkers have white sand in them but it is not the Ohio sand we are used to again a few minutes at the practice area will let you get a handle on them.
Take a camera as the holes are beautifully laid out and the animals and plant life are abundant. Iguanas and birds of many varieties. Growing right on the course you will find papayas and two types of mangos and if you know where to look there are many wild cashew trees.
Disappointments are few lack of logo'ed items in the pro shop was a disappointment, the other was we had read online that there was to be 6 to 9 holes that where lighted for night play but when we asked we just received strange looks as if they had no idea what we were talking about.
One of the other complaints we read about before the trip was a communication issue with little to no English being spoke by the staff, I have to say that we experienced now of this.

Outdoor Spa is a part of the hotel
We had dinner here in a very beautiful outdoor setting although it did rain. The meal was good, but terribly overpriced. We do not mind spending on exceptional locations - this wasn't one of them

ScubaCaribe is a Water Sport Center and the only authorized PADI Diving Shop in the area. Visit us and have a great time enjoying the great ocean conditions of the beatiful Bahia Chame, just a couple hours away of the cosmopolitan Panama City.
excelente opção para quem gosta de aventuras. O local é espetacular, possui diversas opções de espertes. Há necessidade de um pouco de preparo físico.

We visited the butterfly sanctuary as part of a day trip offered to us by Panama Travel. While it was neat to see the butterflies and hear about their life cycle, I would not have gone out of my way to pay the price they ask. We have a butterfly conservatory just on the outskirts of town that offers the same thing for a lot less. Okay for small children to learn about caterpillar to butterfly transformation though. The guide did a decent job of speaking English.
