We have gathered personal enthusiasm over the Slovenian beauties, sport spirit, guiding knowledge and experiences in tour organization in a small company and we want to share all that with people who come to Slovenia. Our aim is to show the hidden spots of this small European country to everybody who chooses to travel with us.
Grega took my family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) out on a full day guided tour. What an awesome day a bit over 30kms of riding through Mountains, along the lake and a hike up to see the waterfall. Grega catered to our different levels of riding and was full of knowledge of the area. Highlight of our trip so far. Highly recommend taking a guided tour.

Vogel is one of the most beautiful and popular ski resorts in the winter, and the most popular high mountain centre in other seasons. Our slogan “Vogel. Like a Fairy Tale.” is the perfect description of our resort in every season of the year, and we plan to increase our profile with it and give our visitors this fairy-tale feeling. We are determined to seize the opportunities offered by our location in the heart of the Triglav National Park (TNP). Vogel cable car takes you to 1535 metres above sea level throughout the year (except during the maintenance periods). In this way viewpoints high in the Mountains are easily accessible and also make an excellent starting point for hikers. You can choose from single or return cable car tickets. The cable car can transfer up to 950 people per hour. The Orlove glave quad chairlift also operates during the summer season (mid-June to end of September) and provides a single or a return ride in the pleasantly refreshing summer climate. It stops at the top of Orlove glave with a paragliding take-off point close by.
Just the cable car trip alone is worth it to the top!! Simple stunning scenery. Excellent little nursery slopes (with welcome traveling platform back up hill!) there was perfect snow conditions when we visited and as a newbie to skiing found the blue runs excellent, gentle and wide. Plenty of places to have a drink or food and enjoy the views. We visited Kranjska Gore also on our trip but much preferred Vogel as less crowded and better scenery. Looking forward to returning next year!

...if you’re up for a challenge!
This is closed during winter months due to its slippery nature and it being dangerous.
It is very dangerous on the way up, even more so on the way back down as the compacted snow makes it very slippery.
However, the views are stunning at the top. Although advertised as a 20 minutes walk, you’re looking at 40 minutes up and around the same back down.
Wouldn’t recommend for people unsteady on their feet.

We had a great time sailing along Lake Bohinj. We bought a Tourist ticket which gives you a return on the boat and a return up and down Mt Vogel and a basic lunch at the top of the cable car. A Return on the boat and on the cable car would have been the same price so basically you got your lunch free.
We got the boat at 9.30 AM and if we had missed it, it would have been 12 before the next one we could get...REASON: These Pesky Bus Tours!!! They had booked out the mid morning boat completely. So be careful!
A Lovely journey.

Monument is work of Stojan Batič. Author composed a sculpture with four standing men, looking to Triglav. Sculpture is nothing special but with the ideal plac on a little hill near the lake, near the road and not far from the church it is nice position to take some photos and look at the view.

Used these guys 4 years ago and just this month. Everyone from reception to the instructers are really pleasant, polite, knowledgeable and extremely good at what they do.
An oasis within the Oasis of Lake Bohinj and the Triglav park.
100% recommended!!

Outdoor agency next to the lake Bohinj. In summer time you can hire a canoe, kayak, bike... or take a guided trip down the river or in local canyon. In winter ski rental shop and ski school directly on ski resort Vogel.
We rented two kayaks without Reservations. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The store is conveniently located right by the lake, and they helped us pick out the best type of kayak for our son, who was a bit more experienced and our daughter, a novice. They stayed on the scenic mountain lake, which is so gorgeous and we weren't even charged until we returned the equipment. The whole process was easy and rates were affordable. I would highly recommend this company.

What a view of Lake Bohinj the Church of St.John the Baptist has, this Romanesque-Baroque church dates back to the late 10th to mid 11th century, from the outside there are frescoes depicting St.Christopher, as the sign out the front of the church states St.Christopher was the patron saint of horse cart drivers in medieval times. The church is slightly different to others that we have seen in that it is enclosed by a stone wall and has an adjoining building which has no doors or windows, looks like a covered patio/stable.

In our spending of time, while been in Bohinj municipality, one day we unexpectedly ran at one rural house in the surrounding little garden, representing the Museum of Alpine Dairy Farming. Just as one villager's, rural house it lured us to get in and see what was this museum like.
And we were pleasantly surprised since we found it as the very cognitive one, showing in no more than four rooms a history of the development of the alpine dairy in these slovenian mountainous regions. The museum is located in Stara Fuzina, at 1.5 km north of Ribčev Laz, the main street at the beginning eastern tip of the Bohinj Lake.
The collection related to Alpine dairy farming, we've seen here, is consisted of one imitation of the mid-19th - century herder's cottage, old photographs, cheese presses, wooden butter moulds, copper vats, then snowshoes and sledges and wonderful hand-carved shepherds' crooks.
Very interesting indeed !

So pleased to have discovered this - my 2.5yo boy had so much fun on this outdoor trail (that is free by the way). A great way to encourage kids to play with all the natural toys set up for your enjoyment. I was really impressed and we loved collecting the stamps at each station. I didnt have the book that you can buy, just used a piece of paper.
You can spend as long as you wish there - we were there a long time as we spent a long time playing in the sand pit and getting water for the windmill.
You can also short cut certain bits by taking the 'pram' route.
One word of caution, when we finished the train we ended up on the road back to the car parks. You pass by the cows and as there are no pavements, you are right by them. Please note that is is an electric fence. My son touched this twice and it went straight to me as we were holding hands!
