Belgrade's long and storied history is suggested by its architecture, which varies from Byzantine and Ottoman to neoclassic and romantic buildings in the older neighborhoods, and from Art Nouveau to brutalism and neo-Byzantine design in New Belgrade. The city's many theaters, museums, monuments and opera houses boast a deep and fissured cultural life while the beaches and rivers attract sunbathers, sports enthusiasts and partygoers on the popular floating river barges that serve as nightclubs.

I have just discovered a great restaurant close to the Temple of Sveti Sava. Food is extraordinary! It's in the Nebojsina street and the name of the restaurant is 'Mala Fabrika ukusa' ( Small taste factory). Ecellent place, with nice open garden in the summer time.
One of the best outdoor Seating areas for the summer. The menu changes with seasons and it's worth visiting regularly to see what's new. Most of the menu is usually traditional Serbian food with a modern twist. The portions are properly sized, neither too small...MoreHi there, Thank you for taking the time to review us. It’s a pleasure to read your positive impressions of our restaurant and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon! Best regards, MFU

Italian-French cuisine restaurant Casa Nova is located in the heart of Belgrade, in Dorćol district, the old city neighborhood known for its multicultural atmosphere.Restaurant owner himself has been actively engaged in decorating the restaurant interior and the smallest details were taken into account, wrought iron wine cellar, painted walls, a small gallery with a few tables, discreet home lighting lamps, comfortable chairs, so your stay would be as pleasant as possible.Restaurant Terrace offers all possibilities for a pleasant stay and relaxation during and after the working day, and refreshments to all those who have decided to spend the day sightseeing Belgrade. Our offer includes salads, pastas, steak, chicken, Turkey, ... by the recipes of Italian and French cuisine. Also, here you can enjoy well prepared seafood and several species of fish. Casa Nova recommends the house specialty, the "Sicilian Wheel." It consists of a tortilla, vegetables prepared on the butter and with white wine, and on top steak or chicken (per request). We also recommend "Steak in gorgonzola sauce" and "Pepper Steak", in a green pepper sauce. Pasta, cheese and sauces, one of which is "Sauce with 4 kinds of cheese" is the best in town! For an aperitif we have a local brandy (Rakija in Serbian) quince, apricot, plum and raspberry. Additionally, the wine list contains a large variety of local, Italian, French, Argentine, Chilean and Australian wines. Tiramisu, profiteroles, chocolate souffle and chocolate mousse ... If you want to try the most stuffed, the richest and most unusual pancakes in town, order stuffed pancakes with flambéed in rum apples, pine nuts, raisins, topped with caramel sauce, chocolate and vanilla ice cream! Eros Ramazzotti, Laura Pausini ... gentle Italian sounds will reach to you imperceptibly and make your time more enjoyable. You can relinquish yourself to our friendly staff, whose recommendations will take you on an exciting culinary journey.
Really amazing! Great menu - everything sounded sooo good - really long pasta menu. We went with the salmon bruschetta appetizer, mixed green salad, ribeye and the Chicken roll! Gorgonzola cheese was really amazing and both dishes tasted fantastic! Outstanding service - server was really helpful. Not one single complaint! Definitely on top of my list when I return...

A chain of ethno restaurants Zavicaj is reflected in ethno decor which is creating tempting atmosphere for those who want to experience this authentic ambient. Plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery are made of pottery. Beer is served in mugs made of clay, and traditional drink called ,,rakija" is served in so called "čokančić" that is actually unique type of a small traditional bottle. If you just take a look of the interior you can see decorated coffee pots on wooden shelves, very old coffee mills and irons and similar details. The parts of Serbian costume and heritage are hanging on the walls. You are going to be attracted with interesting beautiful pieces of Serbian folk art like. Plaid tablecloth and wooden chairs, wooden benches covered with a knitted patchwork are creating warm homely ambient. We tried to make each restaurant reflection of Serbian heritage, where you can find handmade crafts from the hands of our grandmothers, ethno clothes, and walls decorated with big number of characteristic details and old object..
There are plenty of Serbian restaurants in Belgrade to choose from. Some are better than others, but generally there isn’t much difference between the traditional ones.
Make sure you a truly hungry before you step into this restaurant. The servings are huge. I don’t think I’ve eaten so much meat in one sitting. I had the slow cooked lamb, which is one of there specialties ... I will be going back to have that dish again before I go because it was out of this world.
Some of the waiters speak English and they will assign an English speaking waiter to your table once they realise you can’t speak Serbian.

I have been to this restaurant a lot over the past year with different people and everytime we left this place more than satisfied. A couple of my friends were sceptical about the vegetarian label, and they were surprised the most of how the food tastes so good.
I have tried everything on their menu, and really every meal is prepared with love. When you first see the menu, you would think that there isn't a lot of options, but everytime you come you can't decide what you would like to eat more.
The service and food are amazing and I highly recommend this restaurant.

TORO Latin GastroBar is a creative blend of Pan Latin styles and flavors. Chef-owner Richard Sandoval, whose accolades include Bon Appetit Restaurateur of the Year and Mexico's Toque d'Oro, artfully spins South and Central American ingredients into small plates designed for sharing. The beverage menu features innovative cocktails, a collection of Latin wines and a variety of spirits created for sipping and enjoying. The vibrant decor fuses traditional and contemporary tastes, the perfect setting to savor Chef Richard Sandoval's acclaimed cuisine.
Service used to be much better in the past. Used to go with friends very often and lately ralerly due to poor service. Otherwise , nice experience and interesting food, although would be good to have some innovation from time to time.

SALON We know you're fussy, at least as much as we are. Don't worry, we won't overwhelm you with extravagant recipes just because their names sound good on the menu. You prefer the real thing, and so do we. Our dishes are prepared with delicate attention to detail, carefully nuanced in the hands of masters whose dexterity is measured in split seconds on the grill. But Salon is not just about our immaculate performance in the kitchen. A great restaurant makes you feel great. That's why we value experience above everything, making sure to keep a fine balance at all times. Subtlety without arrogance, simplicity without modesty. Indulgence with a tact, committed to class in every sense of the word - culinary, gastronomical and visual. Because grand taste asks for a grand experience.
We have visited Salon 5 on Christmas Eve in December 2017. From the time the waiter opened us the door we were excited. The personel absolutely friendly and with positive energy. The menu small but every dish was and a different taste journey . Everything was perfect . We recommented it with closed eyes.
Greetings from Greece and happy New Year!!!

Haven't been to Budapest yet? This is the chance to experience it! The place reminded me like the famous ruined bar Szimpla Kert. It has the same quirky stuff hanging around the yard. The staff is really friendly and helpfull. Also the food was good; a big burger for a reasonable price (trust me you will not be hungry!). We sat upstairs; the only 'complaint' was that it was really hot up there. But in total a nice place.

They have local rakija and beers. For dessert we had delicious cherry strudel. The staff is extra polite and helpfull. Great experience. We eill be back when in Belgrade.

Today we just had a coffee break at Ambar while walking by the river. Apart from the nice ambiance & cozy decoration, waiters are also kind. Even though we did not wait too much compare to the other places in Belgrade after ordering, they were so nice that felt sorry for delay in service, so they did not charge the cost. We were suprised but at the same time happy. While I was complaining about general waiters attitude in Belgrade which is very unfriendly compare to Istanbul (where we came from) this made us to think that at least there is one place where you are nicely welcomed in Belgrad. Thanks again!!! Keep up the good work!!!
