Its a nice place to visit during season time. But the road from Vythri to the resort is heavily damaged. If you are planning to take your own car, then please park at Vythri and take resort jeep. Staying experience was wonderful.

On our way back from Chembra trek...Our jeep driver insisted that we should have lunch at this particular place. Since he gave us no choice we went along with his suggestion and thank God for that..
This was the best meal I had in my 7 day stay in Vythiri...We had Egg Masala, Tomato Fry, Kerala Porota (Kerala version of Laccha Paratha - all Maida but very tasty).
Egg Masala was out of this world...with fresh spices and green chillies enough to blow our mind.
Tomato Fry was also very good.
We returned to eat again.
Filter coffee was strictly avoidable.
Must visit if you are around the place as it's a little away from main highway.
Vegetarians pls note...it serves all kind of meat

a nice mid range hotel.with well trained staff.stay is good and view is excellent.restaurant serves average food.better to stay here and eat from out.Price range is good.Pool is just for the sake of a pool and water is littered with construction materials from nearby high rise buildings.

Having heard a lot about White house restaurant and their specialty mandhi, I was always looking for a chance to try out this place as I'm a big fan of mandhi. Finally got a chance to try out on our way to Wayanad and it was awesome.
Location- Conveniently located beside the Wayanad road and plenty of parking space. It is hard to miss this place when traveling through this road as it will always be crowded.
Ambiance- Okay. Not very upscale but a pleasant and lively place.
Food- Tried their chicken mandhi and it was delicious. The perfect blend of spices and rice cooked to perfection. The best part was the marination of chicken. It was spicy and well cooked unlike what you get at some other places. The accompaniments all very also very tasty.
Service- Service was very nice, The staff is very courteous and attentive.
Cost- Very reasonably priced for the quality of food and service offered.
Overall highly recommended place especially for mandhi.

1980"S A Nostalgic Restaurant, We serve pure home like malabari food , Come feel and taste the nostalgia
Our homestay host highly recommended this restaurant during our stay in Kalpetta, and it was an awesome recommendation. The ambiance is inviting and the service is great, but alas the menu was limited the night we visited for dinner. Nevertheless, the "nice pathiri" and "parotta" with traditional Malabari chicken curry and beef fry were so good we ended up hogging lots of pathiri and parotta, before finishing off the meal with ice cream from a good selection of Baskin Robbins ;) Traditional + modern fusion. Yummy!

The family was very keen on al faham and we stopped at the first place that we saw around dinner time. The service was pretty quick and the chicken tasted great too especially with the garlic sauce that comes with it. Unfortunately it comes plated on a few pieces of kubus which was very dry. If you order fresh kubus you are likely to get nice pieces. Enjoyed the meal all the same - probably because we were really hungry. And it didn't spoil our appetite for later in the night.

Set in a picturesque , boat like setting offers an open air dining with hundred different varieties of local spices, your senses will be titillated even before you place the order. The menu boasts culinary delights from ethnic Malabar. All dishes are prepared using only select local spices of Malabar.
Spice bowl is a very nice restaurant and I really wish to give an award to the chefs working there because hats off to them, they surely know their job well. Every dish was deliciously prepared with authentic tastes, right from the appetisers to the desserts. Yes, we did feel that there should have been more Kerala varieties in the buffet for food lovers who love to taste local food but that surely can be kept in the boot as the food, the ambience, staff and overall atmosphere was great.
