An ancient granite fort keeps watch on this city of mosques and bazaars. On the site of the former town center sits its most iconic building, the Charminar, built in 1591 with a quartet of 160-foot minarets. Across Hussain Sagar, a man-made lake, is Hyderabad's twin, the city of Secunderabad.

We had the privilege of being invited to a very select event at the Falaknuma Palace. The hospitality, the ambience, the food was unmistakable the Taj hotel at it’s best. Falaknuma Palace takes you back in time to the glory of Hyderabad in the hey days of the Nizam.

A temple with big land area and also amazingly clean & well maintained. The main lord is in the middle of the temple and it does get crowded in the morning & evening. Also you can arrange for a special pooja if you wish to. Ample parking space is provided and recommend to leave your footwear in the car.

Visitors can learn all about the local film industry here, which is one of the largest in India.
Loved Ramoji film city. One can enjoy the entire day here. Food inside is cheaper than and good quality than what you get in Hyderabad. One must enjoy all rides and shows inside. Time management is important. Avoid going on holidays to avoid long queues....MoreDear Sudha, Thank you for your valuable feedback. Last week we have visited Salar Jung Museum along with children. Here we can see Nawab"s swords, Guns, Cloths , dishes and everything. Museum is very clean and easily accessible. There is a food court is in the museum with reasonable prices.
Main thing in the museum is old clock. A small toy will comes out and tap the bell for every hour.

A well maintained place which provides a glimpse into the past..ample parking, clean rest room and a decent stocked eatery..unfortunately, we couldnt spot a guide to take us through the palace and place the display in context (unlike in salar jung musuem)..the garden in the backyard is well maintained and provides a respite from the heat..this is a complex of palaces and do visit all of them..it also houses an antique car display, which is also worth a visit..
