Voted one of the Gold Coast's most popular tourist destinations, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is the crown jewel of the National Trust of Australia (Queensland) [NTAQ] properties. As one of Queensland's earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents: dedication to conserving our nation's Indigenous, natural and historic heritage and culture. With Blinky Bill now present for daily shows, the amazing viewing experiences available at the Wildlife Hospital and hundreds of native Australian animals on display in natural bushland and rainforest settings, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is the ultimate holiday adventure for the entire family.
The Safari Segway is so fun, the staff is friendly but sadly can’t see much animal as the weather is warm most of them is hiding up.

In an area with few good restaurants, it is pleasing to find a contemporary restaurant offering very good food, good ambience (upstairs area) at a reasonable price. Menu was good with my seafood linguine being outstanding. Wine list was adequate for most people. Friendly staff.

Currumbin rock pools, wow!
This place was easy to drive to and also easy to access as it is right next to the road. The water was lovely and you could see the fish swimming around you. Once in the water the rocks are quite slimy so you need to be careful not to slip over.
The only down side was there was maintenance happening and the BBQ's and toilets were out of action
Will definitely be returning here in the future to make a real day of it. If in the area you should stop to have a look and even go for a swim.

Freeman's Organic Farm is a 101 year old organic farm offering the freshest in organic fruit and vegetables. Come and visit the road side stall and tour the majestic property through the banana, avocado and custard apple plantations, into the tennis court converted into a super sized veggie patch. The views spanning from the Mountains to ocean will render you in ore and amazement, on the edge of the millions of year old volcano we offer a gorgeous Panorama view where you can see the Cougal Mountains, Springbrook mnt and even the Pacific ocean. With live music on the weekends plus a selections of organic burgers, coffee and cake from the farm cafe makes Freeman's Organic Farm the perfect weekend drive.
Often visit here on a Sat or Sunday when on the southern Gold Coast up Mt Tomewin Rd.. We stock up on David Freeman and family's amazingly fresh locally grown organic fruit and veges and have lunch ...vegetarian burgers and superb coffee...
Awesome activities for kids too with farm tours, pick your own berries and a secret garden. They often have free music... my favourite the Wayward sons...just love chillin out and taking in the mountain views to the ocean... glorious.

You do not have to pay for a tour to go in and try some honeys. They are well packaged, and come in a sturdy plastic bag (only one bottle leaked slightly despite being checked on the airplane, and that was contained in the bag). Lots of unique flavors as a result of what the bees fed on.

15 lads went here on a bucks party drinking beer. Would recommend the IPA or the Amber beer. A good vibe and friendly staff with a fantastic burger van which compliments the beer. $6/7 for a pot of home made beer can't complain. Even bumped into the legendary Mick Fanning who thanked up for coming, not a problem! Keep up the good work.

Why have there not been reviews entered on this place since one in August and one in February 2014. I have sent off two recently with no response, disappointing for them and me.

The Sanctuary Markets are only open on a Friday afternoon/evening 4 - 9 pm with flavours and food from all different parts of the World. We first checked out Swell the Sculpture Festival on Currumbin Beach that happens this time in September every year and we weren't the only ones with the same idea.
Even though it was only 7.30pm a lot of the stall holders had sold out so our menu was a little limited which is why it didn't get an excellent rating. We will definitely go again, the prices were good, we found a place to sit and eat even though they were super busy, the band in the bar area was great, the lighting and atmosphere and the friendly people made for a lovely evening.
The ice-cream made from fresh berries was sooooo good, so please leave room for that when trying to decide what to have for dinner. :)

This is an amazing place. Our family comprising 2 adults and 2 kids (11yo and 12yo), took a short walk from the car park and hiked down a well worn trail to the cascades. There are plenty of cascades and rock pools to choose from, simply keep hiking upstream or downstream till you find one that suits your group. The water is refreshing and the first plunge feels freezing but a few quick strokes should fix the cold. Be careful of what's under the water, there are rocks and boulders and fallen logs. So
bring along your snorkel / goggles, avoid jumping from rocks and overhangs unless you'r sure the pool is deep enough. Do bring plenty of drinks and snacks because it's so pretty you simply can't tear yourself away. There's well maintained toilets in the carpark.
