We enjoyed our meals at Alleys. The entrees were good especially the pork ball dish. Mains were good and nice generous sized desserts. Sticky date pudding was a standout.
Service is good and for an RSL club it's pretty good. The location is beautiful so you can't really ask for much more.

Dined early, about 5.30 pm. Seated outside which was pleasant. Supposedly booked out but at 8.30pm table inside still vacant....hmmmm? Food was ordered and requested wine to accompany meal. That was all too hard and meal nearly finished and no wine...until I went to bar and it qickly appeared. Shame as food very nice and well presented. Waitress very pleasant and apologetic that bar staff were busy....easy...more staff is the answer! Overall very good.

Currumbin is still a seaside village with a pristine white beach, relaxed lifestyle and a small local community. The Elephant Rock is an iconic part of this community, established since 1990, and having a complete renovation in 2007 to create a fresh inviting atmosphere. With a spectacular ocean views, friendly attentive service and an innovative menu prepared with the best of fresh Australian produce. The Elephant Rock Cafe has been a favourite of locals and tourists alike, for nearly 20 years.
We recently ate at Elephant Rock Cafe and dined on the Antipasto Longboards w Sicilian & smoked olives, Byron Bay halloumi, chipotle hummus, crusty baguette with Fish Chilli & lime prawns, crispy baby squid, confit Ocean trout. This was more than plentiful for two and the food was sensational. Very casual atmosphere. There is Seating upstairs too which would be lovely. Staff were efficient and friendly. well worth a visit.

The Boatshed at Currumbin is the last of the local's secret spots on the Gold Coast. With some of the best water views on the coast, you'll want to stay all day and watch the world go by. Grab some friends and settle in for some tapas and cocktails over lunch, an intimate, tranquil dinner or a bustling breakfast, or let us host our next special event. We've got it all covered for you.
For a relaxed family meal while watching paddle boarders this cafe is hard to beat. Not a great range of meals but the food is well priced and family friendly.

Situated at the Palm Beach parklands overlooking the Currumbin Cove, Dune Cafe is what the Gold Coast is all about. Offering friendly professional service, top quality local produce, relaxed atmosphere and breathtaking views. Family friendly with a large pirate ship playground on the parklands and a calm water for swimmers.
This cafe is great because it is dog friendly, and food is very good.
The best thing about this cafe is the location overlooking the lagoon, close to playground, and plenty of doggies for children to pat and enjoy.
However the food is on the expensive end I feel.

We are an elegant casual dining restaurant on the Gold Coast, providing a French inspired menu with an Australian twist.
I have been going here for years and I have noticed several changes - since the new management. The menu is more extensive and I love that, the service continues to be very good and friendly.
For a restaurant that is priced in the fine dining category, I found the food to be trying too hard. The entree was cold but tasty, the mains were average and the ingredients were, I suspect, not top quality as I relied more on the liberal sauces for taste than the produce .
I don’t want this review to turn anyone off from giving this little restaurant a go as maybe it was a bad night.
The atmosphere and service is lovely if you are looking for a quiet little boutique type restaurant.
I must say though, i was disappointed with the food and for a price of $174 for two people I really expected a lot more . If I didn’t know how good this restaurant has been in the past I would have been much harsher in my review - the 3 stars says “average “ and this may have been closer to the ticket
Sorry guys ! Service was excellent but lots more finess in the food is needed to warrant this price

AVVIA is a relaxed yet stylish restaurant located in Palm Beach, Gold Coast. We offer Beautiful coffee & cafe meals for breakfast, al a carte for lunch and stepping it up at dinner. Our food is made with the best ingredients we can find in our area: cultivated plants grown from heirloom seeds; wild-harvested leaves, flowers, barks and roots; local fish, seaweeds and coastal grasses; pastured meat, poultry and eggs from small farmers. These are the flavours of this place. The process of finding ingredients and transforming them into cuisine are not separate events but one continuous action constantly informed by cultural expectations and new ideas. We brine, cure and smoke as cooks have been doing for thousands of years but we also embrace modern cooking techniques. Our dishes are animated by flavours and textures both familiar and strange. This Is What AVVIA Is About.
I begged my partner to take me back simply because the dumpling dish was mesmerising.
And of course they were just as good the second time.
A little disappointed with the zucchini flowers that we found a bit lacking in flavour.
The beef tataki was beautiful and the serve of olives very generous and delicious.
The service was very polite once again from a gentleman who I believe would be Spanish or Brazilian. It was nice to feel harassed and have a peaceful dinner but still well looked after.
