Remich (Luxembourgish: Réimech) is a commune with town status in south-eastern Luxembourg with just under 3,000 inhabitants. We brought sweaters as advised and entered the caves for a tour. It was interesting to note that some of the wines are treated to old fashioned methods, while others use the modern machinery. We enjoyed the tour and the three wines we tasted afterwards. Buy a few bottles, and then go sit by the Moselle River and enjoy a picnic.

This is the centre of a delightful little border town - walk over the bridge for chips in Germany! The port is only a stop on the river, but lovely and well worth a visit. Easy and cheap on the bus from Luxembourg city.

Although we stayed at wellness Saint Nicolas hotel, my son wanted to go to this public pools as it features some activities kids really can enjoy. He loved the water slide as well as the springboard. Entrance fee is super cheap compared to the UK.

The Saint-Nicolas Spa offers a unique authentic environment where each moment becomes a journey. Close your eyes and let yourself be transported to a world of wellness. In addition to our two pools (inside heated and outside), you will find a fitness room, infra-red cabin, sauna, hammam and an ice cave.
The spa is beautiful, especially as the weather was great we spend a lot of time on the out pool.
Sauna and Steam bath where also quite pleasant with nice temperatures. I hope I can go there again soon. Apparently also open for outside guests not staying at the hotel .

We rented bikes here to ride along the Moselle river. We rented for 4 hours, and we just a few minutes late in returning, because there was a run going on in Remich, and the cycle path was blocked. But, they charged us for an extra 4 hours. We've rented bicycles in many places, and all were much more forgiving about small amounts of time. It's not like there was a shortage of bicycles, either. I would not recommend this rental place
