I have visited this temple several times. Truly speaking the temple and its surroundings have a complete holy atmosphere. Anybody can move around the temple without any sort of disturbances by any Panda. The temple is on way to Airport from Silchar and everytime I had been to Airport or return from Airport without anyone's saying I have realised that I have reached very near to the temple. In a nutshell this is the perfect place of worship.

If you are traveling for campus recruitment to this institute , you would get a great hospitality by the official. The Padma Bhapa Ilieesh , Gurer Rosogulla and the sweet behaviour of the people would really make you satisfied. Though the place is a little far off from the town it has got all amenities within the premises.

Kachari Fort is situated at Khaspur, the earlier capital of Kachari Empire. The fort shows rich cultural heritage of earlier times. The ruins are representation of non-Aryan culture. In18th century, Khaspur was conquered by Kachari rulers following death of Koch king without heir to the throne. The Kachari rulers made it their capital and constructed the Fort.
Today you can see remnants of temples, Baradari, the entrance and Narbali spot where humans were sacrificed. The places are scattered and it requires an effort to locate places and see them. But one gets a good feeling seeing things constructed more than 200 years back. Maybe for the first time saw the place where humans were sacrificed.

HPCL a government public sector utility is not exactly in Silchar town but a bit outside on the highway leading to Shonapur and Shillong.
This paper mill isn't an attraction of sorts but the good thing about this mill is that it has given employment to many locals who earn a living to support their livelihood.
The HPCL also has its own colony for staff and a market. Nothing more to this place.
