We've been here twice and really enjoy it when we're in the area or with guests. It's a little confusing because there are signs to Tuliman Waterfalls and Quetzalapan pointing in the same direction and when you enter there is a giant arrow pointing left for Quetzalapan, when Tuliman is actually straight ahead. To be fair, we haven't been inside the Quetzalapan park, but I think it's more activity driven since most of it is at the top of the falls, whereas Tuliman is driving down a winding hill and getting out at 3 different levels to hike and check out different sections of Waterfalls.
After paying the 50 pesos per person at the little cabin, there are 2 lookout points. We couldn't see much at the first, but the 2nd one had a great view. Down the hill a little further is parking, really nice bathrooms (without toilet seats) and the trail to see the tall Tuliman waterfall. It's a fairly easy and short hike, but totally worth the view, especially early in the day when the sun is shining and making everything sparkle. You can pay to climb a tree, or purchase food here as well. The next stop is a bit further down the hill and you almost miss it if you're not careful. There is parking and sometimes food vendors, but the trailhead is just a bit further down the road past the parking. This is by far our favorite part of this place. It is a bit longer and much steeper of a hike with some slippery parts, but also totally worth it, especially if you're willing to cross a hanging bridge. The rock formations of slanted rock are very impressive and if you hike back behind those rocks there's a very cool hollowed out giant tree and flat rock face to explore.
The final stop at the bottom isn't all that exciting for the rivers/falls, but it does have archery and ziplining, plus more food vendors. You will need to travel up the same way you came to exit. As always, my recommendation is to get there early as the fog/rain/clouds seem to descend starting around noon making it tougher to hike and limiting your views.

A canyon carved out by years of erosion then covered over with trees -- a visual delight. Can be cold and wet. Always bring extra layers. The overlook is easy to find and just beyond it the panteon (cemetery) which has been decorated with colorful tiles.

Do not miss this amazing town and it's surrounding area. Cuetzalan needs a weekend or even several nights. The town is great to explore, there are good hotels & restuarants. The sunday market is not to miss as well as the 'Voladores'! The Waterfalls are a short distance out of town accessible by bus or taxi and they are beautiful with a lovely pool for swimming. Just go there!

Also the museum features through video documentaries and a major mural detailing the work and thought of Don Alberto
Unexpected watch/clock museum in Zacatlan. If you are in town this is definitely worth seeing. Can be crowded at times.

Discover this wonderful spectacle of automata, where our traditions are shown in Mexico
