This restaurant is located in "the flats" area of town. Upstairs they have a grand menu of Chinese dishes. The best are S&S Pork. Everything is good except the Ginger Beef which is always overcooked and dry and has no ginger flavour. The great thing is that they give you a free dish if you order enough food. You can eat for a family of four for $50.

The staff were very welcoming . Tried fir the fried chicken dinner but sold out. Opted for the fish and chips. Excellent. And the pie was good as well. Recommend for family dining. Weather awful outside but diner very light , big picture windows. Beer good as well.

Managed to get a lakeside table for dinner here - what a superb view. Watching the sun go down while enjoying some great food, it doesn't get much better.
We had starters of Thai prawns and calamari followed by halibut and wild salmon. The prawns and the salmon were the standout choices of our visit.

After spending some time in Wells Gray Provincial park, we stopped by for a snack before heading back down to Kamloops. My daughter and son-in-law raved about this place. The snacks we picked up were very tasty. My wife and I had the frozen fruit smoothy and shared a skone. It was all made on site- no mixes. The prices were reasonable. Certainly is a place to check out when travelling down or up Highway 5 and you need a break in Clearwater.

Fun upbeat atmosphere with great food and service.
As we were staying at the Clearwater Lodge we had dinner here. Meal itself was OK but service for anything was really slow. In the end to get and pay the bill i had to go and stand at the counter as we waited over 20 Minutes just to try and pay

A family owned and ran pizza place that does a whole lot more than just pizza -pasta -wings -chicken strips -fries/poutine/onion rings -salads -vegan -gluten free options -dairy free options
Love abounds when relatives visit. Instead of spending time each day in the kitchen producing meals, we choose to 'order in'. The Double R has a great menu ( including subs and other lunch items) - however the Pizza is 'the best' family made Pizza one could ask for. Vegitarian to Meat Lovers- they have it all. This is the perfect finish to a great day of hiking or simply 'visiting' - saves on dishes, and one can't deny that having one's meal 'delivered' is always welcomed

The trout had been frozen and not properly unfrozen, which resulted in a jelly like texture and mushy inside and had nothing to do with a propetly prepared fish or properly prepared fresh fish.
The steaks were fully cooked through, i.e. Very well done, althought the had been ordered medium-rare. Not even the basics seem doable at this place and the lack very basic cooking skills.
That the prices were very high and disproportionate to the quality did not add to the experience.
That the bar staff had never heard of a Bloody Mary was another thing...
But the selection and quality if desserts was solid and matched the rustic place and rura location. So do come here for coffee and cake!

Clearwater Lake Tours offer various canoe trips and other activities on and around Clearwater Lake. They also have a rather excellent cafe, which we found very welcome in this rather isolated part of British Columbia.
The view from the deck at the cafe over the lake is unbeatable. The service was super friendly and helpful, the food (we had the chilli) was really very good as well as being great value and there as many coffee refills as you can manage. WiFi (a rarity in this area) is available for a nominal charge. When you consider that there is no competition within miles it's remarkable that this place is so good.
After lunch we walked the mile or so alongside the lake from the café to the point they launch their canoes where there is a small pontoon where you can rest and soak up the view and the silence. Perfect.
