Volkyland has a huge number of cars, from the 40s to now and they're beautifully restored and maintained. As the last reviewer said, there are tours, but the guide spoke little English (and unfortunately our Spanish is pretty limited). We were lucky that the owner who spoke perfect English came and talked to us about the museum. For example, he said he started the collection in 1968 and that Walt Disney productions wants to bring the museum to Florida. That would be a shame because the location is very cool.

Gilligan’s Island (the official name is Cayo Aurora) is a tiny island that is part of the Biosphere Reserve of Guánica. It is popular with locals for swimming, snorkeling, beach-time, and kayaking.
Expectations were tempered given the havoc wrought by hurricane Maria and not unsurprisingly the island and ferry were pretty quiet even on a Sunday. This is an idyllic location, ruined by people who didn't seem to want to take their rubbish home, blasted music from their boats/phones/stereos and seemed more intent on blobbing around in the shallows drinking beer than enjoying the location - Can't imagine what this would be like when busy.

Pros...
Good diving. Sharks, rays, eels, wall, healthy coral
Decent, not great, rental gear
Friendly staff
Good sized boat
Clean shop
Cons
Communication is lacking... Quick responses to book but once at the shop there was not much direction. Got a boat briefing but no dive briefing.
Although there were plenty of snacks, there was one long Sandwich for everyone to share and there wasn't enough for everyone.
No fresh water on the boat for drinking or rinsing
The rental gear, while decent, needs to be replaced. The wetsuits are ripping, the BCDs are fraying and the regs were a bit rough.
Because it is so far away, two hrs, from San Juan, this is a dive shop best suited for those staying in the area.
I would recommend Island Scuba for experienced divers

My grandmother's family is from Sabana Grande so I visit the site every time I visit Puerto Rico. There have been a lot of changes since I first started going as a kid. Although a visit to the site isn't something that will take up your entire day, there are a few things you should keep in mind when visiting the site. This site is a holy site for many so you are asked to be dressed modestly when visiting (strapless anything or short shorts are not appropriate). This is a place of quiet reflection, meditation, and prayer, so it is also important to be mindful and courteous to other visitors. When my grandmother passed away my family visited El Pozo and we found a secluded area where we could recite the rosary as a family, and everyone who saw that we were praying was respectful and kind. If you're not religious it's still expected that you will be respectful of other visitors, but you may also find the history of the site interesting as there are a number of plaques and descriptions of the visitation by the Virgin Mary that took place at this site.

A surprising gem that we found to be a highlight of our vacation. The scenic drive was part of the experience. The individualized tour given by Carmilo gave us true insight into the growth and production of truly fine coffee. As a committed tea drinker, I was skeptical of tasting black coffee, as suggested by our tour guide. However, this coffee did not need any enhancement. Smooth and rich! Try the chocolate samples with coffee beans, and you will want to take some home. Delicious! Thanks, Carmilo, wonderful !

Captain Mendoza and his crew are the best! They really went above and beyond our expectations. Good humble people that love what they do. Before we even got there, Capt Mendoza, had chairs, umbrellas and a table set up for us. Can't wait to come back and get some more fresh pineapple from Luijo!!!
Gracias!!

The Guánica State Forest & Bioshpere Reserve (Bosque Estatal de Guánica, in Spanish) is an great example of a dry forest, as compared to the rain Forests found elsewhere on the island. Covering almost 1,000 acres, it has been designated as a United Nations International Biosphere Reserve. The forest offers many well-maintained trails and is a bird-watcher’s paradise.
We visited Guanica's Dry Forest last February. We arrive by afternoon and we're only able to walk one trail, which I don't remember the name. February is one of the coldest months in PR, yet in this forest it was very hot, as usual. We were with our 5yo and 3 month old baby. The trail is very pretty and easy to follow, you pretty much do a 360 round. You park at the visitors centers which is a very small house with a guard that gives you a map of the forest. There are many other trails far from the visitor center, but those take more time. We will definitely come back with more time. Also, right next tot he visitor center there are bunch of wooden tables where I was able to nurse my baby. There are bathrooms too, by better bring your own toilet paper or chubs.

Scuba Diving and Snorkeling Center in Puerto Rico. Explore the Bioluminescent Bay in La Parguera or book scuba diving trips to the Wall.
We had been wanting to dive La Parguera/the Wall for a while, and finally got a chance to do so. Paradise was recommended as professional and top-rate by our "home" scuba shop in Rincon (Taino) and they were absolutely right. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff helped us enjoy our experience from start to finish. Cachi, our captain for the day and a dive leader also, kept us informed, safe, and laughing. (The Teaser is an awesome boat, too.) Edward and Chiqui (forgive me if I mis-remembered or misspelled anyone's name!) also took great care of us, and each of them offered different information and advice for both of our dives. The sea was a bit rough but once we were in the water it was SO clear, and amazingly beautiful, and the drop down the wall blew my mind. Gotta go back and dive there again for sure!
We found out they had a biobay tour going that night and they said they'd get us on the boat, which they did - and we are so glad we want. After chicken empanadas and some drinks (beer!) we were taken to the bay area, given some great information about the bay and how the dinoflagellates work (it was very cool to hear the process and how/why it might be a brighter or dimmer glow on a given night) and then given some time to jump into the bay and have some fun. What an enjoyable time.
If you are in the area, you gotta go take a dive, snorkel, or bio bay tour with these folks. If you are not in the area.... go to the area and take a dive, snorkel or tour!!!! And enjoy.
