Located in a 1887 coffee Hacienda. We offer a gastronomic experience enhanced by a botanical agro-tour, followed by the tasting dinner (8 courses)meal filled with only fresh and local ingredients. Chef Ventura Vivoni presents a new menu every weekend based on a seasonal inspiration. Finished with a cup of their local fresh coffee and a historical tour inside the old house. Available by reservation only.
Vida Ventura Restaurant is my favorite Restaurant in Puerto Rico. From its rural location at the heart of the Mountains, its excellent Chef Ventura, charming owners and host family to its carnival of excellent and creative dishes... it is a fantastic, relaxing experience.

Get into highway 10 up to Adjuntas, and find the place where you get the best Carne frita con tostones ( fried pork with fried mashed plantains). They serve a lot, so go hungry. And I mean a truckload of tostones! Lick your fingers and ask for the typical Mayo ketchup dip (add garlic or hot sauce for a zesty spicy touch).
Bon appetit!

It is worth a stop to drink nice coffee right at the heart of this little town. They use locally grown coffee. They are located in the Public Park between the City Hall and the Catholic Church.

Every time that I go home in Adjuntas we end up having lunch here. It’s a busy place an even tough is a buffet, the quality and flavor are very good. They usually offer two types or rice 3-4 meat entrees, some sort of salad, beans and root vegetables like sweet potato and ñame. Dessert usually consists of canned fruit but you may be lucky in a weekday when they have homemade flan. The buffet includes unlimited drinks (soda or juice). I particularly love when they have ribs as they are really tasty and super tender. This is not a fancy place but it’s a great place to have great and truly Puerto Rican food at a Great Price plus you have the option to order “to-go” in case you want to enjoy your food at home or somewhere else. Highly recommended.

In town for the weekend with extended family from San Juan and the States, our group of 16 enjoyed this place so much we went for dinner both nights. The food was fantastic! Big shout out to the meats, especially the rib eye, and the tostones de panapen (lighter and crisper than their plantain-based cousins). The sorrullos were too sweet for my liking but they were prepared well. The fried cheese with guava sauce, grilled chorizo and meatball appetizers were all exemplary. The Waitstaff and management couldn't be more pleasant or accommodating. They also have an excellent wine selection. Very comfortable ambiance, as well. We'll go back whenever we have the pleasure to visit this beautiful town.

Went on a road trip with some friends and I can tell you that the food is delicious. The food presentation is great and the staff is very welcoming. I ordered some mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and the chciken breast with cheese, peppers and onions on top with the mofongo de yuca and it is to die for. Totally recommend it, plus it is affordable too!

I had no idea what to expect when my daughter & her husband told me where we were going. I was very pleasantly surprised by the innovative dishes prepared with a focus on locally produced ingredients.
The talk about the "Hacienda" agriculture and local history only added to the pleasure
If you are adventurous and have the time to make the long trip up this is an experience not to be missed

I visited this place a couple of times about 5 years ago and was outstanding. The surroundings and view are awesome. There is plenty parking and adequate Seating (there is inside Seating and outdoors seating). The menu is great and varied. However, the quality of the food is no longer there. We had two churascos that were dry and gummy, same as churrasco strips I ordered for my daughter. My wife ordered a braised fish that was not well cooked and flavor was poor. The beans were not well cooked, tasting mostly to tomato sauce. I ordered Del kampo rice and was fair. Their service is very good, very courteous and very well knowledgeable about menu. They have to get rid of the cook.

El Campo es Leña has dedicated to only serve the best of the best. Its rustic design offers a casual yet gorgeous atmosphere. Its pizza has a one-of-a-kind recipe, making it a special, delightful experience. Alcoholic beverages are all a masterpiece. I recommend you to try the iconic “Leñazo” Mojito. Words get short to describe the beauty of El Campo es Leña. All in all, it mixes four essentials for a ‘restaurant’ of excellency: Spectacular food, superb views, beautiful design, and gorgeous views.
Through your visit to Puerto Rico, El Campo es Leña is one of the essential places to eat, drink, and relax.
¡Salud! ¡Buen provecho!

This restaurant is on one of Puerto Ricos Paradores Hotels. We had only appetizers and were really good. We saw the plates of food go by to other tables and they looked very good but I did not try them. We got full with the appetizers. This is one of Puerto Rico if not the coldest towns. Temperature runs around 60 degrees and could get down to the low 50s when a cold front hits. It is very confortable place to stay and there are Waterfalls only minutes away were you can have a swim if you brave the cold water. After all it is good place to stay and have the benefit of having a restaurant onsite. Highly recommend this place.
