This place is very well maintained, with swimming pool, water games ( with a water vortex) and a very good wellness place with Roman bath , internal and external sauna. Better in the mornings .

We were able to attend a Gregorian concert at 22h30 as the monks had a youth vigil during the youth choir festival. The next morning we visited the museum (which did not accept the Swiss museum pass by the way) which was very well done, we had lunch and beer. Very nice visit.

The weather was rough and we could observe neither view of the Devil's Bridge nor the surrounding scenery. Make sure you choose a clear-sky day! All what we could see was the large mountain drawing illustrating the story of the farmer, the devil and the goat.

Parcheggi gratuiti a 20 metri. Da consigliare come oasi di relax. Nel laghetto si fa anche il bagno.

In winter it is a quiet peaceful valley with good snow and sun record and limited skiing - ideal for snow shoeing.

This was such a treat whilst in Switzerland! All levels of hiking/trekking/walking are welcome and everything is very well explained before entering the paths of this hike. It does take a while to arrive by bus to this location. The higher and longer you walk, the more beauty you will be able to see. I went with a wonderful Swiss friend who showed me how to push the limits and reap the benefits of our endurance. We walked a few hours towards the top where u can see and walk on some patches of ice/snow. We also saw a solitaire man's home who lives in that area and cares for his donkeys. All the signs of the path are clearly marked every so meters. We drank water from the river with no problem and on the way we also encountered some Yak. In this case, pictures speak louder than words so i will post some of mine but a strong suggestion is to be prepared with proper clothing for this trek as some sections you may have to be walking on ice/snow. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a bit of adventure and a challenge.

The Oberalp pass is the highlight of the train journey "Glacier express". It has an artificial lake which is an excellent opportunity for anyone wanting to catch a breathtaking photograph with a pristine reflection of a mountain on a lake. The winding of the train to Andermatt is also another fantastic experience.

We went close to the end of the ski season. Still lots of locals loving the snow but we went up just to take pictures. Great price for the day and you can get coffee or food in the restaurant while your up there. Great place to go when the weather is good.
