We received a romantic package as a gift and had a super day at Sauna Drome in Putten. For us the highlights were the Hammam massage and the Aufguss Sauna.
The latter sauna is an ''aufguss" where water with oil or fragrances is poured on the hot stones and the steam is then directed to the clients. The result is a very hot steam bath in particular at the higher stages in the sauna. The process is accompanied by a story teller who tells wounderful short stories, jokes or anecdotes (in Dutch).
The hammam massage involves a traditional massage with scrubbing, hot water and soap and is very relaxing for the muscles. It is followed by a nice tea in a separate room.
Also the subsequent stay at Hotel Hof van Putten was enjoyable with a nice prosecco in the room and the bed covered with rose buds (manmade).
Very good value for money.

I went here in 2014, when the theme was the Dutch Golden Age. In addition there were sculptures on the theme of childrens' songs. The sculptures were really nice. One of the artists explained things about the sculpting process and the sand used. Definitely worth a visit, if you're in the province.

An unforgettable day A visit to the Dolfinarium is an unforgettable day out for the whole family. Because how often do you get the chance to meet dolphins, take a close look at sea lions and touch sharks? Use all of your senses You can easily spend an entire day at Europe's largest marine mammal park. Take a stroll from the Dolfijnendelta (Dolphin Delta) – where newborn dolphins swim – to the Zeehondenzand (Seal Sand) where common seals live together with grey seals. Listen to the rowdy sea lions and see with your own eyes how enormous walruses are. At the Roggenrif (Ray Reef) you get to meet some smaller inhabitants of the North Sea. Sea bass, rainbow trout and anemones, for example. You can observe them closely and learn all about these interesting creatures. You can even touch the sharks and the rays. Eye to eye Of course you get to take a close look at our marine mammals. There are eleven unique shows in which the dolphins, sea lions and walruses show you their best moves. Be amazed and moved by their extraordinary appearance! Animal welfare first The Dolfinarium has been around for nearly fifty years. Over the years we have done a lot of research and made a significant contribution to the protection of the animals in the wild. Animal welfare has always been and will always be our top priority in our research. We take care of our marine animals with a lot of love, passion and respect. And it shows: the animals in Harderwijk grow (a lot) older than their congeners in the wild and every year many babies are born in our park. As the main sponsor of Stichting SOS Dolfijn we are proud that we are able to help increase the well-being of the animals.
Ondanks de lange geschiedenis van het park nog altijd een topper onder de dagjes weg. Een uitje voor het hele gezin. Despite its long history still the number 1 of Holland, when it comes to themeparcs. Really a day out for all the family!

Escape Room is a unique real-life game in which you and your team get challenged to solve puzzels and to think outside of the box. Goal: escape within the hour from the mysterious room. The game is exciting, surrealistic, intens, magical, logical and exhilarating - all at the same time! Once you've entered the Escape Room you'll lose track of time and reality.
I played there both Laboratory and Meisjeskamer. And there is only one word to describe it which is WOW. Meisjeskamer has the story, riddles, effects and the entourage. It is one of those rooms which is worth travelling for. When you play, you totally loose the feeling of time and live the story.
I would not recommend to start playing escape rooms with this one because it would be difficult to find many rooms of such a high quality))) But it is definitely worth playing!!!!!!
P.S. Also there is a bar and relax area with computer games and other things. It is convenient to sit a while after the game and to discuss it.

It was very interesting to see all the "occupation" according to traditional methods. Some of those occupation were disappeared and some are still existed though it's completely in different condition. And seeing all vintage toys, my mind was totally back to my childhood. It's very nice to visit this museum even with your kids. You can tell them about the past too. The museum is located in a place that used to be a barn. On the the first floor is the collection of the toys. You can spend the whole day in this museum. There is also a restaurant and the museum shop sells some of those old style stuff

Superleuk museum.

The building opens automatically and the light will go out after a certain time (enough for visiting). The information is in Dutch, but google translate might help and there are a lot of pictures and names and ages of people that died that speak for themselves. Very important to keep this memory alive and honor the victims of the war.

This was a really fun activity and it was also really safe. They have a new kind of system whereby you can't disconnect yourself at any point. The staff were really friendly, if someone was stuck they immediately came to help. The actual obstacle courses were great too because there were some more difficult ones, some easy ones and one that was just ziplining. This means anyone of any age can go there.
