India Poort in the heart of Hilversum offers a unique dining experience. To serve traditional Indian food of the highest quality in an elegant, modern and joyous restaurant where people can relax and eat with their fingers if they wish. The real Indian food is designed to be shared and is served as it is prepared. Our menu offers Meat, Fish, Vegetarian, Vegan and Halal dishes. A carefully matched wine list and exclusive drinks.
I messaged the restaurant beforehand to ask if they take credit card and they do and they asked if I would like to book so I did. Glad we did as it was already pretty busy by the time we arrived and got busier and...MoreDear The Corm, Thank you for your kind feedback. We are really glad to know that you had an enjoyable experience at India Poort and looking forward to your return. Kind Regards Mashudul

The direct surrounding of the restaurant is rather awkward, almost shanty town like. The restaurant is a simple wooden building with a great view on the lake. The food is average. We expected the food to be a bit simpler and cheaper because of the name "eetcafe". We enjoyed our fish dish and a coffee.

This is an original long ago established restaurant, café - bar. Over the years renovated, and extended with some hotel rooms. Staff is very friendly, helpful and well-trained. After many years we returned for lunch, and discovered the original hospitality is still present, now under management of the founder’s son. Good quality Dutch styled cuisine.
The restaurant is easy to find at the right-hand side of the road coming from Hilversum almost at the beginning of the village Oud-Loosdrecht, with ample parking facilities. Highly recommended.

Restaurant located near the Loosdrechtse Plassen with a beautifull view across the landscape of Loosdrecht. In winter a burning fireplace in the center of the restaurant.
Great meal, quirky place, lovely lady in charge. Great experience. Would love to return again. Also very good value for money. Try the lamb crown, it is to die for.

Been here many times and every time the food has been great quality! You won't find a more friendly service and if you're looking for a nice setting on one of Loosdrecht's lakes, this is the perfect place! It is also just outside the centre of town making it less crowded. Amongst some of my favourite dishes are the Sate, a typical one for Dutch cafe-style restaurants and the Pata Negra Ham with Langoustine. Accompanied by a lovely glass of house Sauvignon Blanc and your lunch is complete! It's a nice relaxed atmosphere with great people!

Michelin starred restaurant just 20 minutes away from the centre of Amsterdam. Our historical building at River the Vecht is situated in Vreeland, an idyllic small town with, from our Terrace, a view at the small bridge. The restaurant and boutique hotel is owned by Wilco & Caroline Berends. The young and professional team will welcome you in an informal atmosphere where the service standard is very high. Signature dishes of Chef Wilco are for example the Souffle, the cannaloni of North Sea crab and the main course with pigeon. Be welcome for a lunch, dinner, meeting, private dining and overnight stay. Free parking and WIFI.
Even though I asked for a different main course with very short notice (we had booked a package deal which included a 3 course dinner as well as lodgings and breakfast) my request was accommodated without a problem and the fish they served was very fresh and absolutely delicious. Also, the 3 course meal turned into a 7 course feast with little snacks served with our drinks and also between the courses.

Inspired by the French concept of "Table d'hotes", we serve a different five course menu for our guests, every day. In C'est Ca we always make use of organic meat, MSC certified fish and only purchase fresh seasonal produce for our daily changing dishes. We don't have complicated menus to choose from, but offer a delicious high quality 5 course meal for all to enjoy. Our chef combines the finest seasonal ingredients, to create a delicious French meal, consisting of a starter, a soup, a main course, a cheese platter and a sweet dessert. All homemade of course, to give our guests the ultimate homely feeling you can experience in a foreign restaurant.
Absolutely loved this experience! They were full but was able to sit us quickly. Our two waitresses were extremely friendly. This restaurant has a surprise menu but they are very attentive to your dietary restrictions. Service was quite slow but the food made up for it, best meal I've ever had!

I was here for business the other week and we were with a large group. Other than the beautiful location next to the canal, it is easy to find, there is more than enough parking space and ding areas are very nostalgic. Other than that, friendly staff that know all about the menu and the food itself is just great. I dont know how many stars this restaurant has but it should be at least 4. Good sized portions, nothing is overdone (as in oily, salty or extreme flavors) so i was severely impressed.

We had the tasting menu and while relatively expensive the food was incredible. Very unusual combinations which were really enjoyable. Service was excellent - very attentive staff who genuinely wanted to ensure a memorable meal.

We were here for lunch during a top 10 restaurant week last week. It was a stunning meal kicking off with four superb amuses. Especially delightful was the lobster terrine starter. The ambiance is relaxed, there's an open kitchen, the service efficient and the chef came by the table for a chat. So, all good. Another plus is the location, a lovely old building in a village very close to the A2 and plentiful parking. Highly recommend all around.
