A lovely circuit, very easy to get to as you can see it from the main dual carriageway. Getting in and parking was simple on Qualifying day - the Police were directing us to park in the middle of roundabouts etc! All free and the parking areas were outlined on the tickets so it was a great practise run for race day.
We left early Sunday morning as had a 75 mile ride to the track but minimal traffic, got there really easy, hundreds of bikes filtering through traffic but the Spanish are pretty laid back and expect it. Police accommodate the bikes very well and direct you straight through. No issues getting in and parked in the right area. I would HIGHLY recommend going by bike/scooter etc even if you hire one for the day as done other rounds in cars and sat for hours trying to get in previously :( It also took less than 5 mins to get out on a bike as cars were just diving into any space and jamming the exits.
We took our own food and drink as previous experience has hit us big time in the pocket - water is a must! Food choice is limited to hot dogs/burgers/chips/hog roast or sandwiches that had no butter or mayo on - just cheese. A bit dry but when you're hungry I suppose anything works.
Facilities - one small helmet park which was miles away from our seat (In the Rossi stand of course!) so you end up with it wedged under your seat and carrying it everywhere if you move. As there was a few of us we took turns in sitting with them for security whilst the others went for toilet breaks etc. Toilets are good enough and there are a few scattered around the seated areas altho always queues. Keep your ticket on you at all times as there were people who'd left the area and gone for a wander, didn't have their ticket on them and had a hard time getting back into their seats so the security does work.
Go prepared - watch the forecast - it was 34 degrees this year and uncomfortably hot - take a hat/brolly and plenty bottles of water. There are lots of merchandise stores and we noticed that they all took our debit cards with them to the till whilst putting the order through - even tho it was a hand held PDA device......a bit concerning for skimming etc but we all checked our statements and everything has been ok.
Overall it's a great round, Spanish are very friendly and helpful, it's really easy to get to but I also HIGHLY recommend you make the effort after the racing or even qualifying day and walk/ride into Montmelo. The atmosphere is electric - only bikes allowed - no cars and the Police just watch as burn outs/wheelies etc are done in the street. Lovely little town with plenty bars/restaurants for a nice meal in the sun.
A great round and I'd go back - but Valencia beats it hands down :)
Enjoy ! :)

A wonderful and packed with some great artworks for a small town. Modern interior and accessible for disabled visitors via a lift. The gallery space is well presented as are the artworks. Essential visiting to here is you are nearby.

I would describe this experience as really unique one. The baths are well-designed and very practically placed towards each other. The place itself has a nice atmosphere which makes you relax immediately. I also tried wine ritual and was more than happy - the worm vine and head massage in the end made the treatment I had perfection. The centre has all amenities you need - just go there and relax%))

Experience the closest winery to Barcelona…Along the Mediterranean Sea, come and enjoy our vineyards located on the Serralada de Marina’s Natural Park (Alella-Tiana), just 20 minutes away from Barcelona. Based solely on organic farming, we invite you to taste our “transparent” wines and cavas, which reflect the natural harmony of man, land, vineyards and vintage in a unique setting.
Alella has the smallest wine origin denomination in Spain and is located next to Barcelona. We reserved lunch at Els Garrifers and later booked a private Enological visit, that was amazing. Highly recommeded. English speaking staff, very nice and expert in all related wine issues....MoreThank you very much for your comments! We hope you had a great time in Alta Alella and we hope you could enjoy our AA Dolç Mataró with a good piece of dark chocolate at home! ;-)

Best pub in town. Night bar. Open 7 seven days a week. No food, only driks, specially imported beers and whisky. Nice atmosphere, good craic! Sometimes, live music.
