A scenic mountain area houses important Buddhist temples.
I don't think words could express the scenery. Just go there and discover it by yourself. Really worth ur money and time. My advice is before you go, learn some simple chinese, cause you couldn't see much English or French or Spanish.

Stupid Mainland tourists have corrupted these monkeys to become used to humans. They are very agressive now and will come to you to try and steal food. They have learned to grab plastic bags and such because they know food is in there. I passed this area quickly because seeing the tourists dealing with these wild animals the way they did despite the clear signs warning them of the danger made me very sad.

I went there in winter, the entrance fee is 8 yuan. I'm not sure how much it cost in other season. It took me about one hour to see the whole temple.Just like other temple in Emeishan, this temple also provide accommodation for tourist. It's about 10mins walk from Baoguo Bus Station. It's one of the oldest and most well preserved wooden constructions in China. The flowers in the garden is really beautiful.

This temple is worth a visit if you are going to the Mountains of Emei. We arrived by cable car and walked to Wuxianggang where we took the bus. The surroundings are beautiful, even thouh in rain. It is possible to stay overnight in the guesthouse, and the newest ones have spacious rooms with nice view to the green forest around. They also serve vegetarian, simple food for an early dinner.

What a trip, walking, gondola, and more walking. But the view of the this magnificent attraction is worth ever ache and pain. Rain when I went but still was glad I went

Another HUFF-n_PUFF-Sweat place We went to the Wannian bus stop, took the cable car up, visited Wannian temple. From there it was an awesome downhill walk on concrete walkways and many, many stairs. You’ll need to be in pretty good shape to walk that trail. Or, you can bargain with 2-man team Porters wearing green vests to carry you up/down the long trail. Before you reach the Qingyin pavilion, there is a side trail which is about a mile and takes you to a place where you can wild monkeys. I opted not to go – too tired. After visiting the Qingyin pavilion, we started back up the trail back to the Wannian cable car and bus station because we had round trip tickets. But it was a pretty tough hike back so after about 5 minutes, we opted to go the easy way and went to lower level bus station. We forfeited the roundtrip Cable Car ticket but was able to use the roundtrip bus ticket from this other bus station to get back to the city. This was a great experience. My suggestion would be to get a one-way bus ticket to Wannian bus stop which is higher in elevation, a one-way cable car ticket, visit Wannian, hike down to Qingyin pavilion, visit to wild monkeys optional for the strong hikers, visit Qingyin and then take the easy trail down to a lower level bus station to get back to Emei town.

I almost hate to spill the secret, but this is one of the few places on the mountain where you can get away from the noisy crowds and find some peace.
A respectful group of Buddhist pilgrims were there when I visited. The feel of this temple was soft and contemplative.
Drink a cup of tea and watch the goldfish. Eat a piece of fruit. Sit and watch the flowering trees a while.

The Leshan Giant Buddha is located near the city of Leshan in the southern part of Sichuan province in China. That's why people call it Leshan Buddha. This stone statue was carved out of a cliff face between 713 and 803. It is 233 ft tall.
You can have a close look and burn incense like some Chinese by walking down and up a few hundred steps or take a 30 minute boat tour. You can take some nice photos from afar and save your energy for other attractions. I picked the second one, touring by boat.
Happy Travelling!
