It is a little bit far. Two hours by boat to arrive there and two more hours to return in the same day, but it is a good experience if the weather is good.

I arrived in Castellon de la playa not knowing much about it and after being misdirected by my hotel I thought the town was dead. I stumbled into this market the next day and was amazed. The range of fish, meats and cheese was superb. The vendors friendly and helpful and the prices reasonable. This is definitely worth a visit.

I only visited this place after work after the adjoining central market had shut.
However ---- at this time of day (1800) with the Fountain playing and almost complete quiet - I found it a great place to unwind and relax - just watching the world go by.
Loads of cafes nearby for a drink/ snack.
Sit back and soak in the lovely surrounding buildings - very relaxing.

Just north of the port area, a long, wide sandy beach great for walking several kilometres. There was also a boardwalk further back through the sand dunes. It was very quiet and peaceful.

My 17 years´old son asked for parachuting jump as birthdate present. We are lucky enough to live in Benicasim, close to the airfield from where Skytime operates.
Great service from all the time in Skytime. They made my son feel really comfortable. We enjoyed watching from the ground. Thanks to the team!
Big plus of Skydiving in Grao is that you have almost guaranteed good weather and visibility. That was certainly the case today.
Highly recommendable

A not very big Cathedral situated in a old part of the town,in Plaza Mayor. The facade is austere, not very rich decorated. The building is in a very good shape as long as it isn't very old.It was rebuit in 1940 due to massive destruction suffered in spanish civil war period.A lot of beautiful stained glass windows inside, some heritage objects like silver chalices, some paintings. Not very impressive, though.
The bell tower is an octogonal, stand alone structure.

This white and extensive sandy beach it’s a great urban beach with blue flag (FEE) , has a lot of service (shower toilet, parking, restaurant, and its very close to the castellon port and the city, its perfect beach if you don’t make a milles of road outside to castellon. This beach offer a new concept of urban beach because dont have big balding around and gives the sensation of being on a beach far from the city.
