The gorgeous ivory-colored cove of Agonda is known as "the silent beach," so of course it’s a top spot for relaxing getaways! Surrounded by abundant vegetation, the molasses-paced village redefines the passage of time, which perfectly stretches out your hide-from-the-world getaway vacation. Hole up in an adorable beach hut and let your worries simply disappear.

The Beaches in Goa are really crowded and not worth the effort to spend a lazy afternoon. The Turtle Beach also known as Galgibaga Beach is one of those exquisite gems that is now getting noticed.
This was my second visit from last year. Santosh Beach Shack is the best one to dine in. The sea food especially Crabs are a must have. If you can do let them know you are arriving and how many people are there. The crabs get over in a giffy.
The beach is quaint and clean. The waves are just perfect if you want to just float around and enjoy the peace and quiet.
As its a nature conservation site, the beach is pretty restricted. The highlight are the turtles lay their eggs on the shore, which are clearly marked.
The highway is being constructed and I do hope it won't destroy the habitat for these gorgeous creatures that thrive.

Aquatic bodywork is a revitalising and therapeutic experience. It is an effortless blend of massage and breath work performed above and below warm water. There are a range of benefits ranging from physical, emotional, psychological and energetic which can be experienced whilst receiving a session in warm water.
This experience was something unlike anything I had done before. The warm water and Daniel’s gentle introduction created an easy start. Then I found myself relaxing into the whole sensation. I cannot imagine any other treatment allows such total relaxation. This is different and very special. I sadly did not leave myself time for more than one visit. Difficult to capture in words but I can only recommend that you try and benefit yourself.

We did take a quite long walk along the coast, over the cliffs, starting in Agonda. We did not see other people and interestingly, two wild dogs were escorting us - always in front and seemingly watching out for enemies. Hence, we felt good regarding snakes. Later we heard that also wild monkeys can be an issue. You probably see more with less tension when you visit by boat.

The animal shelter is a registered charitable trust and our work includes: - Treating sick and injured animals, providing them with the best medical and follow up care. - Offering free veterinary services to those who can’t afford them. - Animal birth control (ABC program), facilitated by sterilizing and neutering dogs and cats. -Vaccinations against rabies are crucial as it secures public health
This is an amazing place and Brendy is an amazing caring lady. Worth a visit to see the work she is doing to treat and care for the animals of Agonda , as well as to pet the animals of course. Please take some money for donating to this worthwhile cause.

It’s not easy to choose your massage parlour given the many offers. We made the right choice as our two masseurs were excellent and they provided outstanding experience. The energizing massage included several sections, one part was carried out with their feet, while they stablise themselves using a rope that is hanging across the room.

Chapoli dam is a lovely dam located in a picturesque valley about 2 km before the Chaudi bus stand. If one is driving from margao, watch out for a left turn just after the petrol pump. The dam is about a kilometre down this road.I visited early in the morning and was surprised to find a place as serene as this just a km off the highway.Saw a few birds on the lake formed by the dam and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise.I would highly recommend it for nature lovers and for travellers in the Palolem/Agonda area. There's nothing much around the dam so club a visit here with a visit to any one of the local Beaches.
