Zoutelande (Zeelandic: Zóetelande) is a town in the southwestern Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Veere, Zeeland, between Dishoek and Westkapelle on the former island Walcheren. On 1 January 2005 it had 1,556 inhabitants. Originally, Zoutelande was mainly an agricultural village. The village's character changed slowly into a tourist resort as the demand for beach recreation rose from about the middle of the 19th century.

Definitely a place to visit when you are in Westkappelle, on the dike with a great view. The service is good, the food is good, somewhat high priced (for the location), and if the weather is good and you can sit outside (behind glass) it's an absolute must.

I had a great toasted sandwhich and my husband had a delicious omelet. Service was above average and overall it is a lovely place to sit outside in the sun and have lunch or a coffee.

We had dinner with friends here. The quality of the food was excellent and the prices reasonable. Will be back very soon when we are again in Holland

We went here for dinner after a long walk on the beach after Reading good reviews on TripAdvisor. The restaurant was nicely decorated and warm. The waitress was very friendly and offered excellent service. As a starter we ordered ciabatta with tapenade which we really liked. The tapenade was really tasty. Our main courses were pizza's. Not the best pizza's we ever had; they were nice but not very crunchy. But definitely a nice restaurant to go to when you are in the area.

We came here because of Tripadvisor's rank No. 1 restaurant for Domburg and were not disappointed regarding our dinner. We took the fish of the day (catfish) with a combination of very unique tastes, for us unknown vegetable and harmonious sauces.
The service was quite fast and attentive – but we got the feeling that "De visbar" knows well about its ranking in Domburg and the staff seemed a bit snobbish to us.
As we personally prefer tables outdoor or near the window we did not really enjoy the atmosphere (with two tables outside, two behind the only two windows and the rest without daylight or fresh air). What we enjoyed very much was the show "cooking" of the Sushi/Maki in the rear part of the restaurant.
We definitely would come back for the fish, personal service and atmosphere could be better.

Thanks to the Trip Advisor community to have shared this with us: a cosy place ON the beach, friendly staff, nice food (especially the Croquettes and the Fish&Chips), and the great experience of a coffee on the terrasse on a sunny Sunday in October!

grosses Bier, ein Kaffee und ein Kakao kostet 11,60. Mir hat's gefallen und ich glaub die Preise sind normal es sei denn man möchte essen...dann wird's teurer. Schnitzel mit Pfeffersoße 17,50.

De Babbel is a real family business, Michael and Monique reopened this place since March 2012. Grand-father Bram bakes the best apple-pies to go with your coffee and some other members of the family help where they can. Our cosy 'eetcafé', a dutch name for a bar-restaurant where you can enjoy our well prepared meals and drink at any time and anywhere you'd like. Ether seated at the bar while watching a football game or with your family or friends in our restaurant or terras. Together with our lovely staff we are pleased to serve you all day long, from breakfast to lunch and dinner. Only a drink? We would love to serve you! Summer and winter, De Babbel is always open to welcome you, the coffee is hot and the heating is on! Eat and drink well!
Homemade shrimpcroquets, wich tasted very nice. Friendly staf and good value for money. Nearby the dune and beach.
