We had to wait 40 mins for our meal (all tables were occupied and the waiter announced the timing upfront), but it was totally worth it. The burgers (5euros) and ribs (7euros) were absolutely delicious. They were playing different sport channels on the large TV's, so the atmosphere was nice too.

We had a rather long drive from Krakow to Budapest & Koliba Likava turned out to be just the break we needed. Very inviting setting with traditional wood furniture, surrounded by greenery (there's also a little play area outside for children). Service is prompt & friendly & very efficient! The pirogi was excellent, served a little differently from the way its served in Poland; we also tried the pork schnitzel which was tasty.
Good food in a relaxed atmosphere; good selection of teas too!

At least 10 years not improvement . They serve typical Slovak meals with improper ingredients, sheep cheese is very mixed with cow cheese, using meat beacon on scheep cheese dumpling (it changes very the original taste of standard) unacceptable !!! They use many year same lies, that tomorrow the service to use credit card payment will be ok. Crazy funny. No recommend this restaurant

Not too many places for good food in this small town of Liptovsky Hradok, found it only recently, serving lunch and dinner 7 days a week

Located on the main square in Liptovsky, a mere 200 meters from our superior apartment, we enjoyed dinner on both of the two nights in this northern Slovakian resort town. Both occasions were delightful, with excellent eating choices and even better, friendly and efficient service....MoreThank you for your visit.

We visited as a family for dinner and were promptly served, with the majority choosing a pizza and being pleasantly surprised. Decent beers but a little disappointed that there were no cocktail options. Prices were very reasonable.

On a trip with cousins doing genealogy research. One is greatly good challenged-vegetarian, dairy allergic and chemically sensitive, making dining out choices interesting. We are at Vulcan twice-both times he wait staff was patient with this cousin, carefully listening to questions and requests. The food was great, and the service patient and attentive. We may have been some of the first Americans that some of the folks there had met-they never skipped a beat in giving us a lovely meal.

We tried several places around here and this is by far the best. The food is really good, try the specials they were always good. Service is a notch up then the rest of the restaurants around. We came back a few times. Enjoy.
