Bristling with beautiful lakes, splashing rivers, rugged peaks and looming castles, Vorarlberg is tucked between Switzerland and Germany. This spirited state is dotted with Bauhaus-inspired architecture, eco-friendly dwellings and tiny towns, bristling with spires. Capital Bregenz is the main draw in this alpine locale. Cobblestone streets and a lovely lakeside setting add to its charms. Renowned for its cheese and dairies, Vorarlberg is also a popular spot for skiing and other winter sports.

Lots on the menu, very good quality, service is a little austere but very well intentioned. Food is very good and has some different itels on the menu to many places.

We wanted a typical Austrian menu, Vienna schnitzel and potato salad with Kaisercshmann ? for desert...... we got it.!!
Fantastic food in a very pleasant atmosphere with prices below the expected.
The staff were very friendly and even offered our Parsons terrier dog food and water....this she loved.
I can highly recommend this Resturant.

We went here die to the great TA reviews. Friendly staff and rustic interior. The food is heavy. I had a chicken schnitzel (very generous portion - 2 breasts, very soft). Salad had potatoes. we also tried the boiler beef - served with a small bowl of models and a saucepan of beef broth with very soft beef. Had local beer and a Diet Coke. Had to try the apfel strudel. The bill came to a very reasonable €44 for a very generous portion of tasty food. Work checking out.

Found this restaurant on trip advisor. A modern style restaurant with lovely Old World views. Started with carpaccio and soup - both were delicious. The carpaccio was a generous full plate portion of fresh tasting slices of beef. We also sampled the salads which were also fresh made with simple dressing as requested. Service was attentive and friendly. God spot for lunch if you are enroute to Zurich or Lichtenstein.

Good food is difficult to find when you are in a foreigner from the Southern Hemisphere in a small Alpine village. Caroline from Hotel Garni Lavendel (20 meters away) recommended this place (pity we only asked on day 3!!). Wow. It is a memorable restaurant. So please do not waste your time and efforts looking elsewhere. This is the place with a fantastic menu and good wines. There are a zillion returning local and international customers that tell us that this is the No. 1 spot they come back to in Lech, year after year.
It is nice to know that Austrian food tastes this good.

We were treated like royalty as they knew it was a special occasion, our 38th wedding anniversary. We had a special message written in glitter letters on the table celebrating our treasured night. The staff were excellent in every way! Cocktails and wine selection were exceptional as well as our meal. I had a local fish from the Bodensee and my husband had a steak. Excellent quality! We had a lovely view overlooking their beautiful Gardens. At the end of our meal, they surprised us with an anniversary cake to take home. We were totally spoiled! Highly recommend this gem while in the area.

This restaurant definitely deserves its place in the Michelin guide.
The decor is contemporary yet warm and there is a nice Terrace in the back that is shielded from the sun by vines. The staff is very professional (but not snobby), efficient and attentive.
The food is delicious! Regional dishes prepared with a skilled hand. Nice presentation, without the food just being piled on the plates. Simply, wonderful cuisine.

I've been there many times already and chef Harald Fink's creations never disappoint. On warm days the Terrace, facing away from the street, is a great place to relax and indulge in the food and drinks on offer. The business lunch changes frequently and is an excellent deal, probably the best you'd get for that price in town.

This restaurant was virtually full minutes after it opened at 7pm, we were lucky to get a seat at the bar, the rest of this large restaurant was reserved. Its an open plan building with tables all round the sides, predominantly families but a few...MoreThank you!
