Family Restaurant&Pension Patriot situated in historical part of the first royal town in Slovakia is a place where you experience the essence of home
We were invited by our business partner for dinner. The ribeye steak from Uruguay was excellent as well as the red wine. I can recommend this place if you visit this town.

Trnava might not be on top of everyone's list of cities to visit while in Eastern Europe, but it has a charm about it and a lot of hidden away bars and restaurants.
Wetzlerov Dom was a place I had found in my research and seemed to tick all the right boxes.
Though not right on the main street, its just down a small side street and is pretty easy to find.
Pretty extensive menu to pick from, with my choice being the "Sunday Chicken Noddle Soup" and the "Bryndzové halušky" (Slovak Sheep Cheese Dumplings) which was really tasty, and washed down with a couple of beers.
Looking at other tables, the two guys near me were laughing at the menu and ordered the "chicken and wings" each, and what came was the entire rib cage of the pig and a mountain of potato wedges..... and they had ordered one each!!!!
Certainly the best meal I had in the city and highly recommend it.

Od talianskej kuchyne až po steaky – všetko pre labužníkov. Nájdete nás na pešej zóne v centre mesta Senec.
We ate in the restaurant few times, usually satisfied, so we chose it for a family celebration, 10 adults and 4 kids, booked in advance, during hot summer.
The staff absolutely could not handle the big number of guests, when both summer Terrace and inside was full.
We waited for the soup 30 minutes, and after first serving of drinks which we drank immediately, as there was very hot, no one came to ask if we need more...Then we waited another 1,5 hour for the main dishes!! The kids were starving and nervous, we also... And for me the highlight came when after 2 hours from ordering my risotto, it came with almost raw rice !! I returned it, and waiter was convincing me it should be like that... I ate hundreds of risottos so I know how a risotto should be like....
Never ever!

Lovely place with decent traditional Slovakian fare. During weekday lunch time daily menu with 3 choices available for 3,60€. The menu is full of traditional dishes “ Halušky” like small gnocchi with bryndza cheese was tasty, crackling spreed as appetizer with fresh bread went well with beer.
Waiters dressed in traditional Slovak outfits were cordial.
The only think I am able to understand why they also offer on the last page of the menu Thai food. In traditional Slovakian koliba. Really strange!

I reviewed this place 2 years ago with 5*. I went several times since than with last visit yesterday. Restaurant keeps still very good standard, authentic atmosphere and belongs to top places in Trnava. Try Tom Yum or Miso soup and mixed sushi plate and mango desert.

It is a great place to enjoy a meal. The service is just perfect, the chief is superb. Sometimes a bit too salty, but generally good experience. They serve authentic wine which is very rare!

Restaurant Furman is true slovak restaurant located at the near the famous spa town Piešťany. In addition to high quality catering services, we are able to prepare a variety of social and corporate events. We offer a variety of meals from Slovak and international cuisine. Off course, friendly staff and reasonable prices are here.
I took my customers to this fantastic restaurant outside Piestany. We had a very nice meal. Very basic food, but well cooked. The atmosphere in this restaurant is very good. The animals you are eating is waking around outside the restaurant. Its well worth a visit.

We have dined on quite a number of occasions at Le Griffon. It has a good relaxed atmosphere, is well furnished and has knowledgable and friendly wait staff. The menu is relatively short, which we regard as a good sign and usually sports a special...MoreThank you very much for your nice review about us. We hope to senn you soon in our restaurant Le Griffon :-)

Looks simple from the outside ... inside you'll find a very cosy atmosphere, with a brick-vaulted ceiling. The service was impeccable, from both the ladies serving today - so friendly, so attentive, so helpful and kind. ... as for the food - starter of bean and sausage soup, main course of salmon steak with roasted veg side order, and dessert of pannacotta - my wife thinks these are all simple to make, but, MY, did the chef do a fab job tonight. ... don't know if I was particularly hungry tonight - but, for me, all three courses for me made it the second best meal I remember having ...in my life! ie taking the service, ambience, and food all together. Well done, Restauracia Ludvik and staff!

Restaurant with local modern cuisine, fresh products strongly working with slovak and international wines selection is more than 550 different wines.
Very poor level of service , after 2 very important bottles ordered ( Sassicaia and ornelaia ) we were waiting the starters , 4 pumpkins plate ordered all of them arrived in different shape and in the plate all of them were completely different plates , 2 foie gras as a starter arrive not cooked , we ask the chafe to come and he refuse saying that this is they he cook and anyhow we should pay our plates ! Never happen before to receive such service, we were thinking this place is different and unfortunately this was the confirmation of poor level of service available .
Very disappoint , never back again and sure not to recommend
