Well,in my opinions this is an over rated place to eat,perhaps... it's good for the locals but not for international visitors. The food is ok I guess, but not to much of a choice.Do not recommend it to any of my travelling friends, there is much more and better typical places to eat in the Sogamoso region.

I was there in January 3 times during my 2 weeks holiday in Colombia. The Brasas & Brasas in Duitama was my favorite because the location is 'Beautiful' and on a Sunday it is filled with families kids running around, music playhing on the background and the FOOD is absolutely delicious! The service is excellent! Great soups and the meat is a MUST try the sampler platters with variety of their meats and my favorite is the Corn grilled simple but the taste is so nice! Arepas A MUST as well!

In San German the specialty is italian food, with a variety offer of pasta, seafood, salads, pizzas, meat and soups. Its cozy ambience, welcomes social and corporate events, and taylor made menus.
Italian food cooked to order. Menu has pasta, pizza, meat and fish entrees. Italian desserts made in house. Beer and wine available. We're going back in a couple of days. Reserve if you go on Sundays; other days not necessary. Excellent!Good afternoon, we appreciate your comments and hope to come back soon.

The Casona del Prado was the good find in Duitama. The restaurant is simple and very popular among colombians, but serves some amazingly cooked ans tasting meat. It is also a great chance to have an authentic colombian popular experience.
Service is also great, with all waiters very kind and always available to help you.
The price was also very good fo

Recommend booking this lovely rustic restaurant. We sat inside but there are narrow tables on the veranda. Food very good and excellent choice. They were accommodating as my husband doesn't eat meat or dairy. Do try the bananas in rum with Mango ice cream. Delicious.

Service is great at this little place and the ambient is very cozy. The food is fine too. The problem is that it's always closed. It only opens on weekends I think. And it's expensive for what you get. Also the plastic furniture is not very comfortable.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful place. The decoration is nice, very Mexican but the menu is not all Mexican food. I recommend the Punta de Anca. It is cooked to perfection! The yuca is simply delicious. Good and fresh juice too. Sadly the salads are not good. That is something they need to improve. Also the background music was pretty annoying and not appropiate for lunch time.
