Apparently all of the animals here are found here in the Llanero region of Colombia. Utterly amazing. Different varieties of Toucans that seem to want to see you as much as you do them. And huge armadillos. Aren't they supposed to be little?! Plus Jaguars, anacondas and dozens of other extraordinary beasts.
Amazing watching the wild monkeys playing with the captive monkeys and throwing seeds, fruits and leaves to them!
One slight disappointment was that the lake (which is a primary attraction) had been drained for cleaning. Imagine how impressed I was with the girl working in the zoo who flogged me a bag of fish food to supposedly feed to the fish... Sadly I never did find her or I would have had some choice words that she would certainly have understood!

Wow. Hard to believe that in the reasonably tranquil Villavicencio area that they would build a mall this beautiful. Imagine a 3-story building that was open to a series of Waterfalls, forrest and nature trails. Anchored by a Falabella and a nice mix of upper-range brands, this is a very enjoyable place to spend a couple of hours for a meal, movie or just to walk around and window shop while having some ice cream. It's a very tranquil setting and well worth seeing.

The park is a great place to go to do some exercise, take a nice walk, grab a snack or drink or just relax and enjoy the day. The park is typically clean and I have always seen security guards present. Many families enjoy the playground areas, many people use the exercise area and walking trails and couples are friends are always relaxing in the natural areas of the park. There is always plenty of parking inside the park, drinks and snacks are available and there are statues and things for plenty of fun photo opportunities.

Love going there every time I go to Villavicencio. My favorite activity, great view, fresh air, beautiful nature, good exercise and the best reward the shower in the cold water falls.

In the center of the city. Always a busy place with lots of families and people hanging out having a good time. Lots of food and drinks in the area. The church and many shops all close by.

We went there but they had no shows lined up, you must make sure they are open before going, anyhow they did let us in and we could see the traditional Llanos town set up and the fable park, with statues about folk stories. It was nice but could have been better if the whole park was ready for visitors
