Based on my travel book which I carry on every trip - Lonely Planet my one and only travel guide book all over the world. The location is at the back from the Main Street of Taganga
On our first day in Taganga we came here but we're too early they are only open at 6 pm and we can't wait because we're hungry. So we search another restaurant on Main Street.
The next day we came back but they're closed for private party on the 24th of December and I'm eager to try this restaurant, so we came back on our last night
Is not an impressive place: dark inside the lights are too dim and the tables were so small. Prices are on the higher rank, I could imagine if they are in Lonely Planet they also known by travellers.
This is indeed a very popular place for tourist, oh well, it is our last night in town.
Entree: we had a small plate of langoustine to share - this is a picked choice from Lonely Planet. Main dish I had a seafood mixed which was right for the price, Didier had a mixed grill. We pay a total of 84.500 everything with drinks and tip included

Natural and Fresh Cafe + Juice Bar specializing in Arepa Gourmet, Wraps, Panini, Pitas, Salads, Ceviches, Fresh Smoothies and Juices, Organic Coffee, Mojitos and Margaritas. We also have breakfast till 12pm and Happy Hour 7-9pm. Free wifi
What can I say that hasn't already been said? The previous reviewers didn't lie or exaggerate; this small restaurant is 'da bomb'. I sat at the bar so I had a view of the bartender making drinks, the cooks in the kitchen and the sweet wait staff keeping the customers happy. My first wish as I neared the end of my meal was that i had a stomach twice as large so that i could continue to eat.

Centrally located, Lamart Restaurant served tasty food in a peaceful environment. My wife enjoyed a delicious eggplant dish while I had a very tasty Thai chicken curry. And both dishes were good value for the price charged. Our drinks were 2 micheladas, i.e. beer with lemon or lime juice and salt around the rim of the glass.

Pos - the beer chicken was not only inexpensive but huge! Very tasty. My girlfriend had the Thai salad and added chicken which was also a great deal. Double shot piña colada for 7000 made it all the better !
Neg - our food came out at least 10 minutes apart which was a shame as this was such a great little restaurant otherwise.

Restaurant and Bar Ouzo is a fresh, new Mediterranean restaurant located in the center of Santa Marta's Parque de los Novios. Opened by the owners of the established restaurant Agave Azul, Ouzo offers the best in Mediterranean cuisine with a fine mix of cocktails and wines. Everything from homemade pasta and fresh seafood to wood fired pizza can be thoroughly enjoyed.
This place is a gem. They are usually booked for dinners so make sure you book in advance. Both El Balcon (restaurant upstairs) and Ouzo offer outstanding food for reasonable prices. While in Ouzo, go for any of their pizzas. They allow you to compose half-half pizza so you can try half of one pizza and half of a different pizza if you cannot make a decision which one to choose. You will not be disappointed!

The food was SO DELICIOUS we had to keep coming back! Steak, seafood, brownies, pumpkin soup....everything was seasoned or had sauces that made this a true gourmet feast. The owner and chef is world class and has learned his craft with lots of influences from different countries. What a find! This is a MUST TRY restaurant and seriously underpriced for the great quality of food. And, the view is breathtaking!

The Bar Restaurant is located in the Divanga Bed & Breakfast Hostel. It has been open since 2007 and offers dishes made from fresh, local products and with an added touch of French flavor. Lucie, the owner of Divanga, tries to offer guests the equivalence and satisfaction of a "meal served on a Sunday in a French home."
Me & my friends where staying at the hostel so decided to try out the food as we had heard alot of good things about it and we where not disappointed. We ordered steak with a peppered sauce cooked medium rare, cheese burger & chicken dish all food was fresh & tasted great. The staff where friendly & helpful, some of the best food in the area, would definitely recommend coming here.

It's also a hostel, but the restaurant is independent from the hostel and it's heavenly.
Really chill environment in a little bit of a dirty town. The entire hostel is an oasis. The staff is extremely helpful. They helped us plan our day trips with such ease. They were willing to hold our bags for days while we were exploring the area. Arranged affordable transportation. The chef is great too. Only complaint is the bed was too hard.
