Siófok is a city in Hungary on the southern bank of Lake Balaton in Somogy County. The city is one of Hungary's most popular holiday destinations, famous for its beaches and nightlife. Siófok is one of the richest municipalities of Hungary due to tourism. Hungarians often call the town "the capital of Balaton", as it is the largest city on its shores and acts as the commercial and touristic hub of the region.

Mala Garden Hotel’s restaurant in Siófok offers an exotic atmosphere matching the hotel’s design, where guests can marvel at the magnificent view overlooking Lake Balaton all year round. The international cuisine and the menu is accordingly a composition of Far Eastern, Malay and Thai dishes and flavours, but devoted followers of healthy diets will not be left disappointed either with the wide variety of salads and fish dishes that await them. For those after Hungarian flavours, we have revisited a number of our cuisine’s traditional recipes and are proud to present our interpretations in the menu. Mala Garden Restaurant’s Terrace has a magnificent view of Siófok’s Golden Shore; during the summer, you may dine or drink your favourite cocktail in a genuine beach atmosphere. We have a rich selection of Hungarian wines, and to let as many try them as possible, the wine specialties of the Balaton, Villány and Tokaj regions are available by the glass. Every Friday night in June, July and August, live music is played to add to the beach atmosphere.
Located in small boutique hotel next to the lake, wide selection of dishes - ranging from meat, pasta, to hungarian and asian. Had a "hungarian" dish of beef tenderloin, potato wedges - very tasty, with fresh garlic and leek. Staff ok, a bit more expensive than expected.

Service here is excellent, they never fail to amaze us, and their pizza is legendary :) Staff is very nice and they listen to every special request you might have. Every time we are in Siófok I make us go there :)

We stopped with a tour group and the meal was fine...nothing really to "write home about" but adequate. I suppose it didn't help that we were there during a very hot spell and the inside of the restaurant was very warm and not conducive to eating.

The quality of the food is going down in this restaurant. Some products probably from hard discount markets, like freeway cola if you ask coke...and the quality of the meat is not always correct. The fish soup is average but the quantity is not enough, only if you take 4 slices of white bread with. Positive side is the huge Terrace with wooden furniture, and the service is fine. There is a free wifi and also draft Staropramen. Small playing field for children and friendly staff. In comparison with 2010-11 the quality food changed including smaller portions.

You can find our restaurant in the heart of Siófok next to the water tower. What we offer:authentic italian and hungarian foods from fresh ingredients, give You unforgettable gastro experience. We also serve the best wines of Balaton wine region! Jó étvágyat!/Boun appetite!
Out of the summer season the 'Hungarian Ibiza' is pretty quiet, with only occasional visitors, such as ourselves, there to see the charming little museum dedicated to famous operetta composer Imre/Emmerich Kálmán.
The Bella Italia, a pretty nondescript place, is nearby in, it has to be said, Siófok's charmless centre. We had one of the daily specials, the cream of potato soup 'with sausage foam', which tasted as if it also had Jerusalem artichoke in it. Not bad, but I'm not sure we'd order it again. Good double espresso and friendly service. Bill for two came to HUF 4330.

Being close to our hotel we went to Calvados to enjoy a pleasant Hungarian dinner. Ordered a glass of Riesling, fish, and boar. Everything tasted excellent, portions were big, and services was fast and polite. Prices are very modest, and we left the place happily stuffed. This place is big enough for larger families as well, so anyone travelling with their kids will find this place very convenient.

We were sitting on the covered Terrace. Cosy atmosphere, the staff is very competent, proficient in languages, quick and friendly.
The food was immaculate: fish with noodles and stripes of roast veal with cream-sauce served with spätzle.
Probably among the best restaurants in Siofok, and not too expensive.

It's really hard to find any restaurant open during the winter at Balaton so I was really happy when I found this place quite near to my accomodation. It's a very popular place during the summer but it was really quiet in the winter with...MoreThank you for the nice words! Hope see you soon! Best regards: Sandor Kele, owner

If you just to the Siofok and you need a cup of coffee with some cake - this is a place. It is located near the train and bus stations of Siofok. The coffe is not the best one, but is good enough. The baked things are vere, very tasty.
