What a wonderful restaurant..family owned and operated..felt like I was in their dining room at home. The antipasti was an array of many plates, sampling everything..especially vegetarian..I am but the rest of my friends were not. Hardly had room for the main course..but attempted anyway. Everyone else had amazing plates filled with a variety of fish from the sea..probably caught that day. It was a wonderful experience. Will definitely go back.

High ratings are deserved. We had the 6 course tasting. The chef was very accommodating of my food intolerances. Excellent advice on wine. Cuisine entirely fish based, all fresh and perfectly prepared. Staff very knowledgable about menu and good at explaining the dishes. Attentive but not overbearing service. Atmosphere formal but not fussy. Recommended!

In the historical center of Sciacca, a few steps away from the beautiful Palace Steripinto and by' old Palermo Gate, the Osteria il Grappolo. The Restaurant, Chef Salvatore Ciaccio that with the experience gained in Italy in the field of gastronomy, you will enjoy excellent meals of typical Sicilian dishes and much sought after, presented with style and dedication. Many products of the restaurant are zero km, from the small family farm (extra virgin olive oil, tomatoes, fresh vegetables, homemade jams) and the sea of Sciacca (fresh fish every day). Osteria il Grappolo with its 60 seats is also proposed for small ceremonies and business meetings, all in a rustic-elegant with various objects of Sicilian rural life, air-conditioned room and easy access for the disabled. Do not miss the chance to taste the real traditional cuisine in the heart of the historical center of Sciacca. Come and visit us you will be greeted with openness, kindness and professionalism. Our restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, closed on
We were a bit disheartened by the TV set playing an annoying MTV-like program in the background and by the packaged breadsticks that we were given after we ordered. But our waitress was incredibly efficient and pleasant. And our food was excellent! The seafood antipasto was fresh and varied. The pasta Norma was delicious and the spaghetti carbonara was rich and toothsome. This was not fine dining, but very good standard fare.

i have been holidaying a couple of miles from this bar/restaurant for well over 12 years and love it!
We return every year and can't wait to get to the Spigola ( sea bass!)
The setting and the food, drink and service are perfect! We begin the day with coffee on the sun beds, followed later, after paddling or swimming in the clear blue ocean by beer and lunch!
The sand is soft and golden and the beach is never overcrowded - which given it's idyllic position is strange!
Salvatore is a good friend, who has been a big help on many occasions and we love his company and chatting with the friendly staff. Salvatore's English is perfect as, although Sicilian, he was brought up in Stoke- on -Trent but w manage a perfectly good friendship with his mother- in- law who speaks no English and we have only a smattering ourselves!
We are back in July Salvatore ! Some of the kids before then!!!!

Specializzato in granite, davvero squisite
Aurelio is a great host, and not a bad maker of granita which he showed us had been voted second best in all Italy. From our tasting, richly deserved, along with the lovely tasting brioche. The bar is very much part of the locality and an experience not to be missed.

This small restaurant is a little out of the center of Sciacca, in the area called "Perriera".
The first thing you notice when you enter, is the cleannes of the place!!!
The dishes are really BIG, so if you go there DO NOT EAT BEFORE!!!!
The staff is very friendly!
You need to do a reservation, to make sure you get a place!

We have eaten here before, the standard is excellent, but the thing that makes this so memorable is the daughter of the house.she is without doubt superb at her job done with wit and kindness.but it helps when the kitchen dishes up such superb food night after night.we sat on the balcony overlooking the harbour and everything was wonderful.the prices for such lovely food was unbelievable with either house wine or more expensive which ever you prefer

Great starters (arancini, frites etc) and, mainly, great pizzas. Advised by locals (they all say it is a must) we went the to try this famous pizza and we understood they were right. Very friendly staff and owner, in a nice place just in front of the historic Steropinto palace. Bill was almost ridicolous, less than 10€ per person, including starter, pizza and non-alcholic beverages.

One of the best fast food I've ever tried. Quick service, good quality, huge servings, and delicious food. Because servings are big I preferred take away. There may be a queue during lunchtime. but they work quickly.
