experience the abundant and diverse natural history of the Islands of Trinidad and Tobago. Jason Radix is one of the island's well known, experienced and knowledgeable nature guides. discover the rich populations of neo-tropical birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects and other wildlife with one of the country's most professional naturalist.
This was a terrific experience -- all due to Jason. From our first email to him, it was so easy to get information and continue our communication. His knowledge of his country, and particularly the bird life in the rain forest, was so impressive. We learned a great deal about life in Tobago, and my husband was delighted with the photography opportunities. Jason was careful and considerate with us, taking into account our ages, and took good care of us all the way. A must-tour for anyone loving nature.

Surrounded by gentle hills and Valleys overlooking the sea at Hope Bay, and situated in 20 acres of beautiful forest, Corbin Local Wildlife is a hidden gem. Plentiful fruit trees and flowers attract all kinds of native wildlife - plantain, sugarcane, mango trees and wild heliconia are abundant, to name but a few. Wild caiman sunbathe on the banks of the park's lily ponds, sally painters dash along the many trails and agoutis hop through the bushes. The park is a treasure-trove for birdwatchers - attracting hummingbirds, manakins, herons, mot-mots and jacamars. In addition to the wild animals, the park houses many rescued and threatened species. It provides a protected area, with diverse habitats, essential for the preservation of Tobago's native creatures. This safe environment, away from hunters, allows animals to breed and babies to be released into the forest when they are ready - protecting the natural wildlife which is under threat on the island. Come and explore the forest trails and learn about Tobago's wildlife. Call Roy Corbin to arrange a visit 00 1 (868) 327-4182. APPOINTMENTS ARE ESSENTIAL. If you don't ring to let us know you are coming there might be no-one there to show you around.
We visited the park today and had an amazing time, we enjoyed every minute of it! Roy was really friendly and very informative, the work he’s doing for the animals is incredible and you can tell how passionate he is about it! Definitely worth visiting.

This is the correct name for the beach. It is reached by climbing down 100 steps from Bacolet Street where you can park opposite a Convenience Store. A sign points to the beach. We went there two days running. On the first occasion there was one other couple present; on the 2nd day we had the whole beach to ourselves for the 90 minutes that we were there. The beach is sandy and totally suitable for young children to paddle, albeit that there are no lifeguards. There is a basic beach bar. Drinks are more expensive than most places so we had one the first day but brought our own the second. No changing facilities, but when you have the beach to yourselves, who cares? For those old enough to remember, this beach was used for the filming of the film Swiss Family Robinson in the 60s and was also visited by the Beatles. This is the best beach that we visited during our entire stay. If you visit it you will not regret it.

Small but fine Scuba Dive training facility (PADI, SSI, NAUI), dive shop and service center. We offer introduction into Scuba, dive certification from beginner to advanced level, Scuba diving excursions, personal guiding, snorkeling trips, equipment and parts retail, repairs, etc.
I needed to do the first two open water dives as part of my certification. The dive master, Markus, is incredibly patient and responsible. He took good care of me during the dive and made sure that the 2 other more experienced divers on my trip also had a good time. George who is in the shop is also very friendly and a good resource.
I had many other choices of dive shops in Tobago, but I think this is one of the best. I would definitely come back. They are very honest and will look out for their customers.

The half-day cruise on board Coco Motion, our luxury 31 foot power boat, leaves heading along the Caribbean coast where we moor at a couple of secluded bays for some excellent snorkeling and beautiful marine scenery. During the cruise we sometimes see dolphins, which often like to come and play around the boat. All snorkeling equipment is provided, including life jackets for those who prefer to use them. The boat also has a bimini top which we put up for sun protection while the boat is moored. During the tour we serve soft drinks, bottled water, fresh fruits and our famous home-made carrot cake! We also offer private charters for those who prefer an exclusive tour on Coco Motion. We are happy to ‘tailor-make’ a tour to your individual requirements; snorkeling equipment and refreshments are provided. Also have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it. We offer a version of this program, either in a pool or other body of water. You might try it while you’re on vacation in Tobago. While not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover Scuba Diving experience you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. Visit our website or call us for more information.
We had a fabulous morning with Marlon exploring the waters at Bucco Reef, Mount St Irvine and Nylon Pool. Marlon was punctual and professional. The boat was fast, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The snorkelling is fabulous - wonderful fish and coral. Special thanks to Marlon's wife Rachel for the yummy carrot cake!

This Yamaha SX230 jet boat is operated by Duane Kenny. Looking for the ultimate in personalised, snorkeling tours then look no further than "ZOE" Snorkelling Charters. We offer the fastest and most fun way to go snorkelling or liming (hanging out) in Tobago. Our tours last about 3 hours and allow you access to Buccoo Reef, No Man's Land, and many of the other less visited reefs on island. Furthermore we actually go snorkelling with our customers, making sure you see all that the reef has to offer. Our tours are US $80 per person.
We had a day to spend in Tobago and contacted Duane at Zoe to arrange a snorkel trip for my wife, me and two of my brothers. It was absolutely perfect. Duane arranged to pick us up at airport and turned us over post-snorkel to driver Andy Orr to show us the island before our late evening flight back to Trinidad.
Duane knows and loves the island both on shore and under water. He anchored at each spot and guided us according to our varying swimming abilities to see and discover the reefs and abundant wildlife. The icing on the cake was stopping and walking the Nylon Stocking at high tide, a sand bar that makes you feel you are standing in the middle of the sea.
Duane is knowledgeable, friendly with a sharp wit and could easily engage our humorous banter. He also allowed us to discover at our own pace.
With a background in hotel management, he knows customer service and was expert n responding to emails and our varied requests to coordinate arrivals and departures.
In short, if you visit Trinidad, take a day to zip over to Tobago (21 minute flight, $49USD RT) and snorkel with Duane on the Zoe. If you're staying in Tobago, spend a day with him. You won't regret it. They call it Trinidad AND Tobago for a reason!

Did a full four hours starting 8am, from the main ridge all the way down the trail to Bloody Bay. Junior Thomas is a lovely guide, well equipped - the laser pointer is an excellent idea for spotting fascinating creatures hidden or far off in the forest - and full of enthusiasm and humour. The rainforest here is magnificient, hardly touched, and the trail doesn't feel over-used.
Steepm but all down hlll and not hard - wife (with a bad knee) managed it, and Lulu (13) said it was the best bit of the holiday. Take water!

We spent a wonderful couple of hours here admiring the many hummingbirds from very close quarters (from a Seating area under a protective roof) and wandering the trails to spot other birds. Not sure why they've named it Adventure Farm though. Might give some false impression, it's just a beautiful location to admire birds and nature. Mango smoothies are available but not sure what other drinks and no food that we could see.
