I haven’t been here in 2 years but I glad to see that it had not changed much.
There were 6 of us so we sat on the covered deck outside, which is honestly not an ideal place to be as you do get forgotten about by your server. Service was thus very slow. It also lacks ambience. There was no music outside so it was just dead and the only sound was from the passing traffic outside.
You do get a view of the chefs making your dishes though.
One of the rolls we ordered did not arrive at all. Both my brother and brother-in-law ordered a pasta dish and both were ill a few hours later.
The sushi and sashimi were delicious. The Iron Chef roll remains my favourite roll!
The prices have gone up significantly but it is still a cool sushi restaurant.

The menu here reads like a book, pages of cocktails, beers, blonde & redhead wines and bubbly's too, appetizers, every kind of food imaginable that would be food in any USA sports bar from nachos to burgers to wings, pastas, pizzas & on & on. There really is nowhere quite like this. Trotters refers to globetrotters so it's not a local food place. Right across from the Canadian Embassy which is a true marvel to behold in itself. I came across a team from the US working for BP. After having a couple of beers I decided to stay for dinner and ordered the crab & shrimp fettuccine with red wine and it was excellent. I had enough to take half back with me to have for lunch the next day. I really enjoyed my night out here altho I spent a quite a bit.

This restaurant proved to provide an inviting and relaxing atmosphere which was perfect for the occasional date night. As there weren't much people (because we went very early, about half 6) this afforded us ample attention and great service which I perceived to be the norm in either case. We both had pasta and both loved it. We sat inside but Seating was also available outside which from the looks of it was also a good option.
However, be warned that parking is available on the street and so we had to walk a little way to get to the restaurant.

Chef Khalid Mohammed's Chaud Restaurant offers modern, international cuisine with a touch of Caribbean flair. Favourites include the guava barbecue shrimp and creamy Cheddar grits with applewood-smoked bacon or a tasting of three tartares - yellowfin tuna, Atlantic salmon and Chilean sea bass. Chef Khalid prides himself on freshness, quality and creativity with entrees that include tamarind-glazed double-cut pork chop, and the maple-glazed double duck breast with apple butter. Be sure to end your meal at Chaud with some of the best desserts on the island.
Visited last night and although pricey I had the best restaurant meal in my life.
Photos of current menu & prices enclosed. Initially I was unimpressed with the menu and chose the oddly named Chicken Under A Brick our of curiosity whilst my wife had the Red Snapper en Papilote.
The chicken was exceptional (9.5 out of 10, losing the half point as the centre was a little dry) and my dessert (chocolate raspberry something...!) was so deliciously rich I had to admit defeat and couldn’t finish it. The fish was also delicious.
Excellent service from Crystal who clearly enjoys her job and showed that Caribbean people can deliver the goods if they put in the effort.

The food is really tasteless. They don’t have an idea about “international” cuisine but still pretend to serve it. Service is very nice, they lay live music. But it is expensive. Not worth to go until You stay in Hyatt.

Service was excellent. Food came on time, we didn't have to wait long. There was a good variety of vegetarian dishes available also. I would highly recommend for an evening of fine dining. The ambience was intimate and perfect for our family setting but looking around at other patrons, various areas of the restaurant was ideal for romance, friends and business.

We went there because of the reviews. Had shrimp and a couple noodle items. The server brought the condiments and the hot sauce was half eaten already. Seems like she just picked it up from the next table and brought it to us. She was...MoreHi. ... tips are definitely optional. Service charge does not go towards front staff as a gratuity but that is not something that we discuss with our guests. We apologize and we will take measures internally to make sure that it doesn't happen again.
