Cute setting, and the Kaiserschmarrn is super awesome: Fried in sugar, the dough is slightly denser than normal, and the sugar caramelizes around the lumps of fried dough. Deadly, and seriously awesome. One for the ages!

worth the money and great atmosphere !
They cook almost anything you want. Traditional german dishes are excellent, but they also serve (on request I bleieve) international / French / more sofisticated dishes. Prices are very reasonable. After all it is a small village but the atmosphere and the service is impressive !

A very nice place in the middle of no where.
Location : 2.2 km from Spitzingsee lake, right beside a stream. The place is like a oasis in the middle of desert, with good food.
Food : I ordered Omelette, Bread and different Cheese, my friend ordered some sausage based dish.. We both liked the food.
Ambience: The lady running the restaurant was very warm, they have menu card in German and English language too.
All in all a must go place if you are hiking at Spitzingsee..

I love this place, one of the best restaurants in Schliersee. We came here for four dinners the food proportions are generous and the prices are good.
I had two pork knuckles which were great !
The cordon blur was sooo good! The ribs were tender with a tasty homemade BBQ sauce.
The two blokes who worked there gave outstanding service, so friendly and happy and part of the reason we returned so many times.
The vibe of the restaurant is warm and very Bavarian I am definitely going to miss this place.

Although this restaurant specialises in (fresh water) fish, we all chose different meat dishes. The beef steak was excellent as was the pork. All meals were large servings and were very good value
The service was very good and friendly without being obtrusive. Our waitress spoke a little English and with our little German we got through well. They do have an English menu.

The location is perfect to have relax, to have fun in the lake, to play with your kids or just to watch the sunset. Here you have different types of food and drinks: the best choice is the barbecue! Get a reservation to be sure to have a seat.

Had a fab meal here after walk, hike, climb up the mountain at Schiersee. Local food well done with great friendly service is the key experience here and we loved experiencing that. Coming from London with its obsession with global cuisine we had to tune into Bavaria but are so pleased we did.

Smallish cafe linked to a bakery -always the best combination but a good but filling snack. Not a main line restaurant but good service and good choice a tasty snacks; right opposite the station so handy if waiting for the train. The locals eat here for their snacks- not touristy.

Found this place whilst cycling around and decided to pay it a visit. Gorgeous beer garden overlooking lovely fields with cows roaming. Great for lace to sit and chill. Food excellent and the manager very friendly and speaking English which is very welcome as my German is appalling! Lovely inside also and would imagine just as fab in the winter.
