This distillery selfie tour is quite interesting costing €6 it's not bad considering there is a tasting at the end of two of their products. The Whiskey is pretty damn great!
After the tour we went to a cafe for lunch. While our pasta steak dish was tasty and cooked perfectly the pumpkin risotto with fish was just okay.
There service was friendly and the server was kind enough to translate the menu verbally to English. The post lunch coffee was pretty good and in the end cost us about €40 (with two beers)
If you're in the area definitely pop into the distillery.

Enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Museum. We had a guided tour where the tour guide really brought the historic life of the average farmer in upper Bavaria to our imagination. You could sense the guide's personal dedication and passion. Extraordinary.
The museum's setting is simply beautiful, almost impossible to see it from the road, but by now resembling a little historic village.
We enjoyed wonderful food at their restaurant and a mild summer evening outside beneath the apple trees and the May pole.
Highly recommended

We had bikes and enjoyed cycling to the Waterfalls, we parked bikes and had a very gentle walk through the woodland to get to the waterfall. It was very easy to get to and lovely falls.

This is a nice spa although it's mostly indoors and smaller in scale compared with other in the region. However it's a good way to spend a few hours on a rainy day
Small pool and slow water slide suits younger children. Our teenager and 10 year had fun on it but agrees it was very slow. There's an even smaller outdoor pool however with large Terrace on the roof and by the outdoor pool.
Small steam room and spa pool as well as a large restaurant.
It's in immaculate condition with family changing. It was also a lot cheaper presumably to reflect it's smaller scale.

Compared to other ski areas (like the Stubai Glacier area), this area is fairly small. Additionally, the snowboard fun park area was closed due to weather conditions (in January!). Most routes are red, so it is OK for the average skill level. But our family needs the full range (blue, red and black). Only one black route was open and it was very icy starting around 11am. The blue routes are too short, so the "blue" family member used the red routes, but stopped skiing when they started to expose their icy patches around 11am. So we tended to come early (8am) and leave early (11.30am). It is unlikely we will return.

Wonderful spot for a swim with great family atmosphere. Facilities include Changing rooms, cafe serving hot and cold food, diving boards and inflatables. Volleyball court and small playground for the younger ones. Large grass area for sunbathing, hiring of sun beds are extra.
There are lots of free swimming spots around the lake so if you just want a quick dip then no need to go here. However for a family of 4 it was only 10€ and you get all the facilities. So it's definitely worth a visit.
To avoid confusion the local signs etc show Stranbad Schliersee rather than the name shown on Trip Advisor.

This little cable car does its job satisfactorily, no more, no less. I recommend you walk up the mountain on the easy track with some spectacular views of Schliersee lake, village and countryside. On the way down take the summer luge run - this is great fun for all the family!
