The food was extremely good, the price fair and the host makes you feel at home. I'm not giving the top score for the only reason that (I understand) the traditional food is meat and I had fish instead, so I want to keep some room for improving the score at my next visit. On a more serious note: 1_the mussels had a generous quantity of garlic, which was fine with me but may not be liked by everybody and 2_I noticed that a wrong order was delivered to the table next to mine. The host apologized and instead of changing the order (as most would), left the wrong one on the table for free and brought the correct dish as well. The quality is in the details too and I will definitely go back.

In the area of the historical venetian cities, 300 mt away from the highway, surrounded by the Rocca Federiciana, is located the Villa Corner Restaurant, with their atmosphere of sophistication without pretension, providing its guests with style and traditional hospitality. A corner of paradise with 2 hectares of centuries-old trees, a Fountain and multicoloured seasonal flowers. The Tavern of Villa Corner. A combination of the fine art dated 1500 and the exquisite fisch cuisine prepared by our Chefs, Monica and Renzo, make it the ideal location for any kind of event. The ancient Villa Corner stable may accommodate up to 150 guests for any kind of seated event. What makes this place a unique masterpiece is the original stairway located right in the middle of the lounge coming from the m/v Saturnia, an old transatlantic. The Villa Corner Barchessa (ancient arcade) is located right in front of the private park , for unique outdoor party.
Good food and quality wine and extremely nice service (all in Italian of course:))

Heading south towards Ravenna on the main road from Chioggia (SS309) we stopped here for dinner quite late in the evening and it was an excellent choice. We ordered two starters (antipasti misti and astice), one first course (spaghetti alle vongole veraci) two main courses (branzino and orata) plus a side dish of grilled vegetables, a carafe of the house wine and then dessert, and the bill came to 87 euros. The atmosphere was very agreeable, mostly local families who were clearly regular customers. All the dishes we saw being taken to the other tables were well presented and appetising. When the time came to pay the bill, everything was carefully itemised, without any mistakes. You feel you are in very good hands in a place like this, unlike many of the restaurants you find in Venice. We will be back.

The restaurant looks very nice. The building, all decorations, garden, outdoors Terrace are very cute. I didn't want to order their special dish whic I've seen by all other guests and ordered cozze in red sauce (too salty), and special risotto with porcini and prawns - was it just rice porridge with mushrooms and twice I've found pieces of one prawn. I Would suggest to order the special grilled fish dish as I think they are good just because of it.

Today the restaurant is an intimate and elegant, fully renovated, helpful and ideal for cocktail parties and private functions. Simply furnished with taste and a bit 'of originality, you will recognize it because of its dark green walls and touches of design of the 900, as some advertising of foods of the 50s, from well-known Sasso olive oil mayonnaise Orc. Osteria Arcadia can sleep in it until about 25 seats. The cuisine of Arcadia is fish and meat based, all prepared according to recipes handed down in the family for 3 generations takes care of food, including trade and taverns. The common feature that characterizes all of the menu is seasonal products, ie, a periodic availability of ingredients and dishes that gives you the flavor and freshness of each course during the year. And this is one of the secrets of our delicious a la carte menu, you'll see an offer that does not vary randomly from month to month.
We overnighted here (see separate review), and had lunch and dinner as well. At lunchtime there was only another couple from Austria, who had used the Slow Food guide in German to lead them here. The place is small, intimate and charming with only 7 tables. There is a separate menu for the mussels, cooked in 11 different ways; it is important to note the mussels have a "protected denomination origin" stamp awarded to the local place that cultivates them. Of course we tried one of the dishes and noticed they were less salty and larger than the mussels from the Tyrrhenian Sea. The dish was very tasty. We also tried the deep fried sardines/whitebait, eel and sea bass, as well as carpaccio di ricciola which was amazingly fresh. The spaghetti in tomato sauce was excellent in its simplicity and genuine flavours. To finish sorbet with mint and lemon - outstanding.
There is an adequate wine list, with a large selection of grappas. It is not one of the cheapest osterie we have been to, but the quality, variety and ambience are certainly worth the price and the drive. The osteria is run by Pamela with her mother Arcadia, and they made us feel welcome.

This restaurant is simply a cut above. Magnificent food - I had pumpkin gnocchetti with salmon, and baccalà with polenta, both excellent. Great customer service, the waiter was always attentive, chatty when we wanted to chat, and kept himself to himself at other times. After a customer meeting nearby, we by chance found this nice restaurant, after searching in the cold and rainy weather. Very friendly and professional waitress. I had fried chicken which was good, but nothing exceptional. But the dessert was. A tiramisu made on forest berries. Very delicious, see the photo. Prices OK.
