Restaurant established since 1995, located in an area with colonial architecture, building dating from the nineteenth century, has a cozy family atmosphere, and is characterized by good treatment and good Cuban cuisine.
Nice restaurant at the main road of the lovely city Pinar del Rio. Everything was perfect: service, food, drinks (one of the best mojitos). A restaurant with a lot of different choices compared to most of cuban restaurants regarding the food. And it wasn't a problem at all if you had a special request regarding the preparation of the food. Definitely worth a visit when in the city!

We stopped here for lunch while on a tour we booked with Air Transat, while staying at the Hotel Bravo Arenal. The food was actually pretty good here. Our meal was included with the tour, so we did not have a choice. However, it included a drink (beer for us), salad, rice and beans, pork and desert.

This restaurant roasted a whole pig and had delicious side dishes. Especially good was a local soup served in hollowed out bamboo. It is along a river and a boat trip to the Atlantic ocean is fun.

The food was good and the restaurant was nice. The Waitstaff was very friendly and enjoyed trying out their English with us. I recommend this place, if you're in Pinar del Rio!

This was the first restaurant as you leave the Hotel Ermita and was typical of the area where you have a small restaurant attached to someone’s home. The restaurant was spotlessly clean with crisp white table cloths and it was such a shame that we were the only ones there (but it was low season). The food was really tasty and well-presented and at 10 CUC/person for your usual banquet was good value. Two of us had the lobster which was served in a delicious tomato sauce. We all loved the rice with black beans.
They could not do enough for us and even let us try the wine before committing to it, we were pleased at that given the Cuban wine was not to our taste – it was no problem to change this to a Spanish red

This place had pretty good food. There are several beers on the menu, but they only serve Cristal. They only have rose and white wines by the glass, but some good reds by the bottle.
The food is well prepared. Everyone was pretty happy with their choices.
We sat in a little room off to the side of the entrance. Very interesting.
But, the service was good and I might even return!

This is a tiny, charming restaurant with a lovely staff. Our multi-course meal began with a delicious lobster cocktail, then a vegetable soup, the ubiquitous rice and beans with many vegetables, chicken palliards and home-made potato chips and ended with flan and coffee. Everything was delicious and the service was just fine.

Really good food at the "the aubergine". If you like good foods you should visit tavern. It's definitely quite steady in La Berenjena because it's not situated at the main street from Viñales. Friendly service.
ps: In Spanish the correct name of the restaurant is Berenjena = Aubergine.

We stopped for lunch of the usual pork, rice and beans and sweet potatoes at this pleasant tourist centre with bread pudding for desert. It's a nice relaxing spot after a long journey and a long walk in the Vinales valley. It is also handily located a short walk away from the Cueva del Indio.

The caipirinhas tasted like a summer afternoon in the Brasilian Salvador province. Just perfect! The seafood rice tasted like rice boiled in seafood broth. And the Cerdo Asado (pork) was marinated and cooked to perfection. The waitress was a delightful aquaintance, while there is room for improvement with the mojitos.
