Nea Ionia (Greek: Νέα Ιωνία, meaning New Ionia) is a northern suburb of Athens, Greece, and a municipality of the Attica region. It was named after Ionia, the region in Anatolia from which many Greeks migrated in the 1920s as a part of the Population exchange between Greece and Turkey.

A meat restaurant where you choose the meat you want and they cook it as desired. Environment is simple, you need Reservations for a Saturday night. Staff is polite and efficient. Apart from meat, they also specialize in pizza and rissoto. The banoffe was very good, good wine list, worth one visit not more. Has nonsmoker's and smoker's sections.

Chalandri's and Greek's taverns gem, Kitsoulas is an authentic representation of what Greek tavern is and where locals eat! Menu is pure Greek and visitor will enjoy the definition of delicious Greek cuisine and warm hospitality. Stuff is very helpful and attantant and will bring anything you ask in front of you quickly. We tried stuffed zucchini, Pastiche and beef fillet. I would advise you to call in advance and make a reservation as it may be crowded. Food is guaranteed to be delicious! Don't miss it!

I visited the place with my family for a Saturday lunch. Everything that we had was great. Ntakos salad, very nice fava, sardines, bourekia with feta. I recommend it

The restaurant's philosophy is clear and precise: years of experience, imagination and creativity seek out the best nature generously has to offer every season and evolve it into a faultlessly delicious result based on clean, authentic and imaginative dishes. The menu at Psomi & Alati changes every 2 to 3 months according to seasonally available ingredients.
To begin with, this is the 2nd time I dine at this restaurant, the 1st being in its very early steps. Comparing to this 1st, I consider it not that good. The place is nice, non smoking area exists and the service is great. There is an option for 2 people menu, 25€/person, which I think is a really good choice. However, we decided to proceed with different plates in the middle. The concept around every course seemed interesting, however the result was at many cases disappointing. Furthermore the quantity of the appetizers was really small. The house wine was really good. The prices are rather high.

The location is stupendous near the water co. processing facility. The outdoor Seating is limited since he plastic partitioning has been opted for an all year operation. Broad spectrum from lobster spaghetti to grill meat is offered at a decent quality but as always overpriced and not exquisitely prepared. However the place has acquired an interregional popularity strengthened by the Sunday lunches. Do choose simpler and not upper tier grilled fish and ask for partitioning and olive & lemon to be offered at the table. Also beware of over grilling with the inevitable desiccation.

When it first opened it was a big hit. Now with the departure of its mentor the expectations should be lowered. However, it still has a very good level of fairly-priced food. The decoration is appealing but the location of the restaurant does not help you a lot to become comfortable. It's a must place for people that want to taste fish and are coming from the northern suburbs of Athens. Probably one of the best for that level of prices.

St. Andrews Square in Lambrini is a Buenos Aires or Mexico sized Square, huge for mid town hellenic standards. The Church is overwhelming but clumsy byzantine. The square is stringed with eateries: pizza, local kebab, cafeterias, italian etc. The Labrinaki is a bright little jewel offering a fine variety:we tried leguminous salad, fries, ,blackbeans, grilled mushroom, mince meat or kebab skewered or plain (pork, veal, chicken) of characteristic good quality and preparation. It takes a little time since it has an vibrant Delivery facility. Attentive waiting and a friendly ear - sensitive to complaints or suggestions. It is not a cheap thrill but definitely worth looking for it. Has not succumbed after three glorious years.

New STEKI, full INTERESTS dishes and flavors redolent rosemary & Avarsamo. To discover what is meant by these words in the Cretan dialect, you should visit the warm n welcoming space that inspired the owners of Savvas Barkoulis and Zacharias Mafromanolakis. It tasted highly Cretan recipes like fried snails, Apak pans, syglina Crete Staka Mr. eggs, cheese pie but Mr. xerotigano as Mr. other traditional non recipes from GREEK countryside cuisine with a different visual
Succullent chicken 'contosouvli' impressively presented as a hangman ceremony, salad was slightly smudgy (the Cretan), fine fries, 'kataifi' with cheese- wines and spirites were to our liking. Waiting was very prompt and friendly and price wise a bit on the expensive side. Greece is impervious to qualitative deflation. Still a fine place in a pre suburban location. The offerings were eclectic and not only Cretan.

I rarely post bad things about any restaurant especially if the food there is good like in Ancho but the lady preparing the orders there is quite rude and a snob. Although we loved the food, my partner was grumpy the whole time we were there because of the way we were spoken to.
