Business Hours: Mon-Sat 9:30am-5:30pm. A Cup of Joy Cafe serves as the perfect pit stop to and from Khao Lak. We are located just outside the town of Khok Kloi in Phang Nga Province. Relax in our air-conditioned cafe while sampling our fresh coffee drinks, smoothies and homemade baked treats. We have free wifi and clean restrooms available to our customers. We're located about 45 minutes from the airport just off the main road past Khok Kloi on the way to Khao Lak.

We were driving to the airport after our stay at one of the Khao Lak hotels. We chanced upon this little cafe. It looked quaint with an option of indoor or outdoor sitting area. We chose indoors as it was raining. There wasn't a lot of variety but the some of the cakes available that day were good - such as the banana chocolate cake and the chocolate brownie. My daughter liked their Oreo cupcakes. However the coffee (we ordered latte and mocha) tasted like 3 in 1. Price wise was reasonable - about 45bhat for the cake and 35bht for the brownie. We thought the cafe had great potential if it offered more variety and improve on the coffee. What put us off was that initially the lady said there was free wifi. We were using it for 15 mins when it was cut off, she claimed it was the weather and said she could access the wifi outside the cafe but not inside. But when we checked there was no signal what so ever inside and outside the cafe. It was a clear signal for us to leave.

We have been coming here for years on our way up to Khao Lak. The restaurant is owned by a German and his Thai wife. The quality has been consistently good and there is a wide variety of Thai dishes to chose from. A few western dishes (chicken nuggets, french fries, Spaghetti) are also in the menu, which is great for our kids.
The restaurant is directly on the beach and the tables are located in little huts. Prices are a little above average.

Very good restaurant in Natai area, Staff is friendly,they have an extended thai and western menu,the food is excellent and the price is ok. Great location, it looks like to be into a jungle. I can only recommend this little spot

Stopped here today for an early dinner.
It isn't just a restaurant. There is a coffee shop, camping ground, things for kids to do and a shooting range. However, we just stopped in for dinner. We had a great table looking over the panoramic views of the Wilderness below. The service was super fast and the Thai food was excellent.

The Edge restaurant is on the beach at the Aleenta hotel!! We are staying at the hotel so have eaten in the restaurant several times!! The staff are pleasant caring and friendly.. if you want beautiful scenery in a peaceful setting no crowds .. The Edge is perfect ..

We came across this restaurant on trip advisor. We were staying at aleenta resort, about10min drive from our hotel and wanted to explore restaurants in the area serving local Thai food. We got exactly what we wanted ! The food is delicious and the restaurant setting was nice surrounded by trees. We had the Thai green curry, fish cakes, prawns with vermicelli and stir fry vegetables. Price was reasonable at 970baht including a big bottle of beer. If we have not ordered the prawns it would have been much cheaper. Totally recommend it for others who are bored of dining in the hotel and craving for authentic local food. Only negative comment are the mosquitoes.

Это ресторан отеля Mai Khao Dream Resort&Spa Natai (один из двух). Первый ресторан ориентирован на тайскую кухню, а этот - на международную. Пишут, что шеф-повар - европеец, но судя по манере приготовления его участие ограничивается только советом :).
По еде в целом нет претензий, обслуживание тоже довольно внимательное. Однако коктейли совершенно ужасные: в мохито перелили сироп, а Singapore Sling, наоборот, не хватало гренадина.
В целом, стоит одного-двух визитов, особенно на закате - с террасы прекрасный вид на море.

Went there almost every night during my 2 1/2 week stay at Akyra.
The food was always tasty and good.
I disagree with the statement that the owners do not smile and are unfriendly.
I was always treated well incl. smiles.
However, in my opinion the menu was to small if you stay there more than 1 week.

All the best.... get free transportation from our hotel in luxury van. Warm welcome at arrival and fantastic stylish restaurant. Great recommendation for the food and explanation. Small menue but all special and u can find from seafood, pasta or risotto to meat. Every dish we ordered was a special creation. Taste wonderful. We asked for oyster u could not find on menu but as amuse bouche. No problem they gave us oyster plate for starter. Also we asked for wine recommendation... just fantastic. Now... all is special and first class... so it has his price. But every $ we spend we got double back. We will recommend this place for our friends. We will be back also
