Perched on an island a mere 95 kilometers from the city of São Paulo, this bustling beach town seems a world away from the gargantuan urbanity of the state capital. Among its charms, Guarujá counts 23 separate, stunning beaches, all ripe for swimming, sunning and surfing. Families head to the beach at Enseada; singles, it's all about you at Pernambuco.

The view, the food, the service. Wow! If you are in Guaraja don't miss this restaurant. I had the scarpa and it is some of the best fish I have ever had.

A large group of us went to this restaurant to sample some seafood. The service was good and the food was also tasty. Pretty typical dishes for the area. Nothing really special though.

I did enjoy eating there, but i would give an advice about the size of the plate, it doesnt serve 2 people at all.

A charming mix of restaurant/cantina style with a varied menu of traditional Brazilian food serving not only different receipts of fish (you are in a beach city after all) but also beef and chicken meals. The restaurant is not too big and can get very busy after 2:00PM in the weekend but apart from that the service was impeccable (including the waiter which spoke English to us). Food was tasty and fresh, served as ordered. Nice mix of fruits and drinks, with a honest price.

Nothing fancy. Has a good wine list , overpriced but with good options. Food is average to low standard. Highlight of the night was the Catena wines we had

Both the Pizza and seafood are great options. The view is astounding by the sea.

Under the charm of a typical decor and the breeze from the deck by the sea, this restaurant offers for guests and visitors the best of Thai cuisine, represented by irresistible and amazing dishes.
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere (despite the terrible music) and the service was friendly and helpful. The food wasn't that authentic or outstanding but it was definitely good enough and there is a nice Terrace which looks out on the beach (although you probably need to make a reservation for that. We didn't). One of the nicer options we found in Guaruja. Worth a look.

We had seen this bar driving by and it didn't seem like much. Later we decided to give it a try and were surprised by their competent pizza, cold drinks and very attentive team of waiters. Recommended.

This probably is the place coming closest to traditional thin crust hard baked pizza Italian style with na appropriate amount of filling. Most other pizzas in São Paulo are over loaded with all kinds of cheese and they usually have deep pan quality.
Be careful if you want to try catuypiri - that is realy the cheese lowers Paradise but if you are not into voluminous cheese adds try something else
