Milord & Vinorosso is a Restaurant where you can taste a mix between the French and italian with a touch of paraguayen cuisine. It's an Elegant and refined place that remind you a little corner of Paris.
Small elegant restaurant (just 40 seats). The food is good, although nothing to rave about. Extensive wine list (chilean and argentinian), nice ambience, soft music, very good service. On this occasion we had ravioli with mushrooms and pancetta (very good) and a risotto with the same ingredients (average). Have been here now on 4 occasions and, although I have only dined at half a dozen restaurants in Encarnacion, I am sure there cannot be another restaurant of this standard.

Novo Rodeio isone of the most important restaurants in Encarnacion. Itis a brazilian churrasqueria with a huge variety of meats, salads, pastas and Deserts.
The service was great. The meat was really really good. The different salads to choose from at the all- you- can- eat stations were very well presented. And the Deserts where typical of Paraguay. Flan, puddings, fruit salad. We thought it was worth the visit.

Headed here as it was recommended in lonely planet and Encarnacion is a difficult place to track down good restaurants. Ordered 2 lasagnes, fries, a mixed salad and a large beer to share and it came to £11!! Having travelled through Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, this is amazing value! Lasagne was delicious, as was the salad, portion sizes were huge as is common in South America. Sadly there was no service with a smile and we did get the fries as a starter initially and had to send them back to come with the meal but the food and cost made up for it and we had a nice evening.

This is one of the best bargains for the Brazilian-style parilladas in Paraguay. For about $7 per person at lunch, we enjoyed a buffet of salads, fruits, vegetables, traditional Paraguayan dishes, bread, desserts, ice cream, and of course, delicious meats being grilled as we watched. The family favorite is grilled chicken medallions wrapped in bacon. The staff is extremely attentive, and the place is always clean and well-maintained. It's near the bridge to Posadas (Argentine border), so close to shopping in the Nuevo Circuito.

Called here to eat a light lunch. The restaurant was not very busy but simple food took an inordinately long time to arrive. When it did, the chicken Sandwich special consisted of one slice of bread cut into two quarters. The club Sandwich also not particulatly good. Beer cold which was the only good part of the lunch.

Paraguay is landlocked so no sushi I thought but then I thought about Switzerland and Nevada and the reviews and the Lonely Planet all talked and blathered about how this place is good and cheap. So let me tell you it's not good not cheap. Quality: rice is horrible. I took the three temaki set. All rice, warm, and a minuscule piece of fish in each of them. I took the udon. Horrible choice. Tasteless. I took the sushi combo (boat) and the rice was KINDA ok but the fish was dry on the surface, meaning that it has been cut hours before. The price: 12€ for a (low quality) 10 pieces set is NOT cheap. 7€ for tasteless udon is NOT cheap. Stay away from this trap.

I live in Posadas for part of every year so often come to Encarnacion. The restaurant is not in the casino itself but in the casino hotel (also very good) on the next block, past the corner gas station. A nice dining room looking out at the pool area. I had Lomo (fillet steak) my partner had Salmon which came with very nice roast veg. Both were very good and reasonably priced for the venue, as was the wine. The only negative is the location well out of the centre - although only a $4 taxi ride. Should have a much higher rating than No 11 - this possibly reflects earlier reviews when it was located in the casino.

The menus are written in Spanish and English.
A place local people just loved! You can eassily chat and have some jummy fast-food, they are good at making pizza, as well as empanadas!
They are easy to treat with, the waiters are very nice hard-working people, willing even to change their playlist if well asked it!
Just be patient, the place is crowed during weekends but it's worth the try!
Tip, if you don't like it crowed just go during the week or early noon-local people usually have their dinner around 9 pm...enjoy it!

It is the best pizza in town, once you make your order they will have it ready in 15 minutes. Even though pizza is an everyday meal for Paraguayans, still there is a need to learn how to make a better pizza in general, spite...MoreThank you very much for visiting us, we make every effort to serve you better . Always welcome!!!
