This stunning Moroccan city in the Rif Mountains was originally built as a fortress in the 15th century. The mountains towering over Chefchaouen resemble a pair of goat’s horns, and, perhaps not coincidentally, the creamy native goat cheese is one of the most popular regional treats. Architecture enthusiasts will marvel at the Jewish-inspired blue-tinted buildings, octagonal mosque and Spanish ruins.

We ate here on a cold, blustery night and it felt so cozy with the fire burning. The owners and staff are very friendly, the food is delicious and very reasonable. The restaurant is very pretty with a soaring 4-story interior and pretty decorations. Delicious Tagine--great cheese tart.

I like to write a review for this very nice new restaurant in Chefchaouen. We've been there twice during our travel in Morocco and it was really splendid. Please let me know as soon as I can submit a review. thanks
After eating in some othere restaurants around the plaza, you will be amazed how outstanding this one is. It is clean and warm. Food is surprisingly good here. You gotta try Beef Tajine and salad here! waitors are polite and lovely. Once you eat there, you will want to go back again.

We came across this place unexpectedly, but I had read the name previously...so we went in. The menu covers a lot of familiar Moroccan specialities but some choices I hadn't seen offered elsewhere... like goat, for instance. We've done a lot of driving in Morocco and seen many a goat at the side of fields... but this was the first we'd seen it on a menu. Starters were equally familiar... I thought that today's Harrira soup was a teensy bit better than yesterday and the Eggplant dish (Zaalouk) was tasty, too. The goat tagine? Smokey and delicious, I opted for prunes in the sauce, which was really excellent. The meat Cous Cous was a bit plain flavoured but good. Another first was a small dish of quite spicy hot chili peppers as an accompaniment... nice! The bread they serve is particularly delicious too. A really good lunch at a reasonable price... staff were friendly as well.

I stopped in here, craving something other than tangine. The hostess/waitress/cashier was so friendly. She was singkehandedly running the place except for the people in the kitchen. The pizza was just the way I like it; super thin crust with very little sauce. Going back again this evening

We had a very nice dinner at Aladdin's Lampe Magique
We had Vegetable Couscous and Meat-plum-almond tajine and both dishes were amazing. So was the Harira and the Chocolate mousse.
Service and ambiance was good, but it's really the food that made it a very nice experience.
Would return without a doubt

Right off the main touristy square filled with restaurants and their waiters waiving at you, asking you to come eat. These places never seem to be the best choice, but here we were and hungry too. Reviews seemed decent so we stepped in. Go up a couple of flights of stairs to the Terrace to get nice views of the square. Yes, it has the usual selection of tajines, but my goat version with raisins/nuts etc was really tasty. Service was adequate and we had a lot of fun watching the cats line up for leftovers.

Le Restaurant Molin'Arte est ouvert tous les jours de 10H A 23.30
The most amazing setting in a beautiful town high in the Mountains by a natural spring river supplying you with the background harmony, The restaurant is like an Art museum as soon as you walk t the entrance you know that genius is at work here, exquisitely design mosaic front with hints of Gaudi, as you enter the restaurant it has unique pieces hanging on the walls and sculptures being displayed and utilised. Taken upstairs to the outdoor Terrace all furniture designed by the multi talented owner. Now to the food we started with the salad nicely assemble presented with bread and olive tapenade a natural orange and strawberry juice , the taste of natural locally grown ingredients is noticeable , for main course the goat and potato gratin perfectly cooked meat tender and melting in the mouth would highly recommend, all round a wonderful experience that should be enjoyed by many this is truly a jewel in the crown of such a wonderful place

With limited numbers of restaurants in Chefchaouen I'm surprised there was not a line up at the door. The service was great and the staff didn't stop moving for a minute. The food was delicious fresh and hot. By far the best spot we ate dinner or lunch in all of Chefchaouen.

We are proud of Morocco's ancient culinary tradition and heritage. We try to bring to our customers the authentic flavors of Moroccan traditional home cooking.
We arrived for breakfast with high hopes. We ordered breakfast eventually after slow service. My vegetarian arrived with ham, I ask for it to be changed. He took it away, then brought it back with ham scrapped off and the rest off the food shifted around to fill the gap. Asked for a fresh whole plate of food. They waited 5 minutes and gave me the same food on another plate eggs as cold as the lady how cooked them eyes as she stared at me after I first complained. My wife's dish was disappointing as well. So we left the food untouched and paid. Left for a less terrible restaurant.
