A delicate cuisine with enjoying a magnificent view of the sea
I was in Cargese for almost 2 weeks, had dinner here with various groups at least 4 times...
Food is great and special - "classic" dishes that come with a twist either through a local product here (chestnut fritters) or some fancy technique there (salted caramel with scallops, basil foam with pasta). Interesting and exciting (though a bit on the pricey side).
Dessert selection is also great. Try the chocolate cake.

Cooking was not so good, but above all aggressive people at the service.
The ambient was noisy when we have been eating there, but this was not the real problem for us on the specific dinner we had. Me and my friends have had the worse experience ever had in Corse during several years, as the people there have been aggressive. Ratio price/quality is absolutely a nonsense here. Forget this !

A Nice restaurant near the sea, to share good time, mediterranean food. Hammocks, beach's beds, everything for relaxation and holidays !!
Friendly. Ideal for a sunset on the beach. The food is good but quite regular. You go there for a warm welcome and a nice evening on this gorgeous beach drinking a local wine or Pietra.

We stumbled across A Piaghja after a truly revolting meal the night before at U Serenu. What a difference! Picture-perfect beach setting, simple driftwood furniture, relaxed and professional service... fresh fish, beautifully cooked... excellent wine, all at very reasonable (for Corsica) prices. Go! ... but please don't tell anyone else ...

I don't agree with the terrific reviews I read about this place. Starter was well presented (and the charcuterie was good even if the overall taste was affected by too much pink pepper) and fishfood we have been served was good as well. Desserts were ordinary.

"Ta Kladia" is on the beach side in Plage Pero. It is a motel but we did not use it for accommodation. As we were staying nearby - I went most mornings to receive my emails (free) whilst I drank coffee! Sat at the seaside before and after a swims. We ate two evening meals and a lunch in the restaurant. The food and wine were good;proper Corsican. It is not a cheap restaurant. Whilst we were there the menu never altered. I am writing because I enjoyed the food and meeting the friendly family that runs "Ta Kladia". Marie

Corsican traditional cuisine and Mediterranean cuisine. Local and seasonal products. Open all year. Panoramic Terrace with sea view on the Gulf of Pero.
We were travelling for the day and found Le Saint Jean easily for lunch. Plenty of parking across the road. Modern interior, light and airy and good staff. Local company or club group of about 20 were there, a good sign. Reasonable prices and good choice of food. Above average and we didn't have to go off the beaten track (the road down to the beach restaurants looked too much).
