We were invited to his restaurant for lunch and had a great culinary experience in a quasi-classical ambiance. The kitchen turns regional ingredients into modern, well-presented dishes, with a superior taste. We enjoyed small fried fishes and pumpkin flowers for starters and a charming seafood pasta. The local rose wine was superb and the service was professional and cordial.

A cozy, quiet fish restaurant in the center of the Barletta. Pleasant, attentive service. The interior, executed with taste. A good fish menu, prepared according to the wishes of visitors. A large wine list. Reasonable prices. Popular with local residents. I recommend to all those who by fate, was in this town.

I don't usually write reviews while still on holiday but was very, very impressed with "Al Vecchio Forno". We arrived not feeling particularly hungry and the charming waiter Alexandro, talked us through the menu and suggested adjustments he could make - it allowed us to taste a stunning variety of foods without feeling we had eaten too much. Everything was truly delicious and we just wish that we had found it earlier in our 6 day visit to Barletta. We have been in Puglia for just over 2 weeks and this is BY FAR the best meal we have had. The restaurant itself was lovely too. We left not having spent a great deal and feeling that we had been well looked after. Thank you to all the staff we dealt with, but particularly Alexandro. If you are in Barletta, don't miss out on this special place.

Pub, Ristorante, B%B, Sky
St. Patrick's Pub/Restaurant was recommended to us by a friend - we visited on two occasions during our stay in the lovely city of Barletta. The owner Francesco is very friendly and quite passionate about all things Irish which is obvious from the decor and photographs on the walls - it's just like walking into a traditional Irish pub at home. There is a lovely atmosphere in the pub and the place was buzzing and seems to be a very popular spot with visitors and locals alike. This was evident from the queue for tables right up to the time we left on both nights which was after 11pm (Italians eat very late!) The food was delicious, fresh and flavoursome. Dessert of tiramisu was delicious as was the local red wine. The staff were friendly, polite and attentive. Francesco himself greeted all customers with a smile and a chat and seems to know everybody! The Guinness seems to have travelled well to Barletta as it tasted extremely good :) We would very much recommend a visit to St. Patrick's Pub/Restaurant while in this area.

Perfect pizza (!), great Pugliese appetizers and the best pasta we have ever tried with such kind of souce. It was orecchiette with porcini, trufles (as far as I understood) in a white souce (cream?) - this pasta is a must-eat in that place (if you are lucky to get it...). Just ask what is in primi menu. The tourist set is very large, in a resonable price. It is the portion for the gourmets (not like it happens some time that the restaurants serve the tourists the cheapest fast food like chips and the cheapest pizza or chicken and take a fortune - not in this restaurant...). The staff is extremely friendly, proffesional and helpful. Prices are really fair for such a great quality of meal. The interior is so beautiful, makes the atmosphere unique. Lovely old-style pictures on the wall. We have to come back one day to this magnificent place. Grazie mille, Franco!

Good quality for price food, fish absolutely fresh, I have been eating in Kaori either in and take away and always been satisfied. Shame thou the sushi is also "fusion" so if you are looking for pure sushi you have to specify " no mayo please", " no fried sushi please, and no balsamic vinegar as decoration". That's why I didn't give this place the full score. It's worth a visit and more anyway.

We were walking down the street looking for a fun restaurant and our waiter invited us in. He helped us with our selections since the menu is in Italian and we had one of the best meals we have had in Italy.
The restaurant is very simple and rustic but the food is delicious. We had a vegetarian antipasta with grilled eggplant and lightly battered and fried vegetables. This was followed by a mixed salad with octopus. We ended with two great pastas - seafood pasta (with lots of seafood) and a mushroom and sausage pasta. Both were amazing!!! We had a both the house white and red wines ( half liter each) and a large sparkling water. Our total bill was 38 euros. A very good value.
Locals also enjoy this restaurant. As we left - 3 local families and kids arrived. Don't miss this restaurant in Bartella!

We were at the restaurant twice. The first time all the food was really good: starters, pasta, second dish and the wine. As we liked the food and service we came back the Sunday before we go back home from Italy. It was really disappointing: the bread was at least yesterday's, only after the wine was opened and the starter served they said that the main ingredient of the main meal was 'finito' even we seemed to be the first customers for the dinner and they would knew this when we were ordering. Also they did not have the desserts. Quite strange for Sunday night in July :(
