Nestled at the foot of the Black Forest in South Germany, Baden-Baden is a chic destination for those who fancy a dip in its famous salt- and radon-rich thermal hot springs. The town has been a popular destination for so long that it's starting to show its age, but not to worry. It's still very classy, picturesque and well-maintained. (The Dame Julie Andrews of German spa towns, if you will.) Sporty types will find an abundance of opportunities to enjoy golf, tennis, horseback riding and skiing nearby in winter.

After a visit in a museum nearby we stopped here for dinner! We were lucky to get a table because it was already packed. Even though it was busy, the staff was very hospitable and fast. The food was hard to choose because the food in the menu and on the tables around us looked great. We had different two vegetarian meals. Both choices were great. We can absolutely recommend this place. But next time we better book in advance.....

We arrived Friday evening around 10pm without reservation and surprisingly got a table. We liked the rustic decoration which gave a warm and cozy atmosphere. There are traditional Swabian dishes and some international dishes on the menu. The food was very good and the staff were friendly and efficient.

Just restaurant perfection. You should call to book before you go.
This is an out the way restaurant- away from the tourist streets
It was an amazing meal in an amazing location - sat outside in a courtyard. Romantic and idyllic.
The food was amazing, not especially fast - but absolutely worth the wait. The staff are super friendly and helpful and I couldn't have been happier with the meal.
I would definitely return.

We were only in town for a week, but we were able to go to the Einhorn three times. The first was just for drinks in the cellar to soak up some atmosphere. The second and third time we went back for some amazing steak dinners. My favorite item was a fillet with blue cheese and mushrooms. We have to leave town, but can't wait to come back for more. Thanks Rainer for the excellent service.

After several days of traditional German cuisine, we found 1-Starred restaurant Speisemeisterei. It is a long haul from the center of Stuttgart, but worth it, for the view, location and beautiful decor. It's hard to believe this elegantly decorated single room restaurant exists in such a remote location. Be prepared for a tasting menu full of little bites and foam. The main dishes are excellent, but you definitely do not leave full. The service is impeccable though, and even the house wines are top notch. We made Reservations a few days in advance and there were still multiple tables open.

I was with a friend, ordered Lamb kleftiko, johannisbeer nektar, fried calamari and something..the food was OK..i would not say extra-ordinary but OK. The worst part was they didn't except ATM cards so my friend has to pay for me. Service was good as they offered free shots. The atmosphere is really compact and loud. I would come again despite of the compact ambience but with cash!

Our fie
Rest meal on Germany was last night. We had plans for somewhere else since this place we thought you had to have a reservation. Well stop 1 was closed so on we went for a walk to another spot. We came across this lovely spot. The atmosphere, waiter, and food for simple fabulous. They had outside Seating set up across the street which was lovely. After being in the hot and humid temps if the US this was a welcomed sight to be able to sit outdoors. Food was amazing. Started first with a sampling from the chef of a creamy Carrot soup. Not too creamy at all topped with some green onion, what a great start to the meal. Followed by a quick side salad, then the main course. Our table of 4 had the schnitzel (2), with potatoes, pork cheeks with Spatzel, and whole trout with root veggies. For desert we had the chocolate mouse, and elderflower ice cream. I can't tell you how good everything was and I will be visiting again before we more to our next location.
Highly recommended!!!

Found tango on TripAdvisor. Great 'off the beaten track' Location - small and intimate. Lovely server - Elisa? Tasty appies/salad my husband was disappointed with his rump steak - too fatty. My grilled veggies and goats cheese were great. Server/owner took steak off bill although we didn't complain. They apologized profusely. Turned a bit of a negative into a real positive and we'll be back. Great wine list, too and knowledgeable server!

The dishes we had ranged from excellent to acceptable. Caprese with fresh Buffalo Mozarella was excellent, homemade black squid ink pasta also excellent. The steak was very good and the fish was very good. The Tiger Prawns were a disappointment; they were overcooked and in and by themselves of poor taste and quality. They obviously were not wild caught but farm raised in one of the mega Asian shrimp farms and then had been frozen for quite a while. In our group of five, two had a shrimp dish and both had the same issues. They were not terrible, just not on par with the rest of the meals.
Good and extensive wine list. Check your wine prior to being served. The wine we ordered was mislabeled in the wine menu. The owner thanked me for bringing it to his attention, said the supplier shipped the wrong wine. Not a big issue, found another excellent choice.
Nice atmosphere, lots of locals and local Italians. Reservations are highly recommended, particularly if you have an inside/outside preference or during inclement weather when the outside is not available. The restaurant is located on the edge of the old city and there are several parking garages nearby and free street parking in the evenings.

The restaurant is located in the old part of Bad Cannstatt and is decorated in a romantic manner, a bit old fashioned. Our wish was to learn more about the local wine and the Sommelier was very knowledgable and chose an excellent wine that was aligned to our taste. The food was very tasty although quite heavy (lots of butter and Bechamel sauce....). Overall - a good experience!
