We do not have a chance to walk around outdoor because of drizzling when we arrived. We went straight to the restaurant. The first thing impressed me is the wooden structure of the building. The next thing is that we can view the Reutlingen town and sunset through the glass windows.

It is an old church build in Gothic stile in the 13-14th century. The interior is rebuild in neo gothic stile in the 18th century. It is situated on the shopping street (Wilhemstrasse) a opposed to the main train station. a few hundred meters from the central square of the city.
It is a nice place to visit and have a few moments of tranquility.

Created and installed in 1983 by the sculptor Bonifatius Stirnberg, the Fountain depicts each of the twelve guilds that had economic and political power in Reutlingen, from the 1500s until 1862, when the guilds were dissolved.

With plenty of toilets, a cafe and playground, this is a wonderful park for young children, however, for adults, there are also gym equipment and even a pharmaceutical garden. The atmosphere is also much more relaxed than the neighbouring park, and with so much to hand, it's easy to see why this park is more popular.

World's narrowest street
This attraction is not something that the people of Reutlingen visit every day. The "smallest street in the world" is little more than a tight space between two buildings. That being said, it is one of Reutlingen's claim to fame and will only take a few minutes to squeeze through.

This doesn't compare to the excellent range of walks that you can do in Baden-Wurttemberg, but this is the delightful little riverside walk if you want to get away from the shops and tourist attractions, but don't wish to travel too far from the centre. There are nine educational panels along the route to help make it more interesting.

The Tübingen Gate was built between 1220-1240 and extended in 1330. As the main entrance gate of medieval Reutlingen, it is a very impressive historic structure, which is much taller than it looks, and is quite hard to frame well in photographs.

Combined with the impressive city gates, it is very interesting to see the old city wall, although there it nothing you can do here. That is why a little research before you visit, or a guided tour whilst here, makes a visit to Reutlingen so much more meaningful.

A lovely formal park with Fountain and children's play area. Sadly the nearest toilets aren't anywhere near the children's play area, or even in this park at all, but are instead located in the nearby Pomologie Park across the walkway over the motorway. Despite this layout flaw, if you have small children, then this is the place to visit for some play time!
